Hefty Foam Plates, 8 7/8-Inch

The media could not be loaded.  We use this kind of foam plate for our acrylic painting classes. It is easy for students to hold on one hand or place on the table.It is better than a rimless paper palette. More controllable when kids mix color with too big motion or too much water. It causes less spill.Comparing to a paper plate, this foam plate with maybe a top coating prevents absorption of the color or water. This way, students can have more time and space to create their colors before the paste dries out.It is also easy to clean up and throw away. Don’t bother to wash your palette and waste/pollute tons of water.
