these pliers work so well and are very compact. If you’re an angler who uses TA clips these are a must to make lure swapping a breeze, especially for larger clips and lures.

Hands down my favorite tool for split ring attaching , believe me a must in your tackle box.

These would have been a solid 5 stars for me, but they failed one parameter. I use very small split rings, 4.8mm O.D. for various thigs as well as for fishing lures. The split ring pliers have no issues opening the small ring (once my fat fingers get it in the pliers), the cutters are great, comfy grips, the issue is, the seratted plier section has a small gap so I can't use them if I want to grab the line and tighten it. They may work on heavier line (I use 4-6 lb.) but for my purposes they lose a star, butYour application may be 5 stars. If you just need split rings for crafts and craft jewlery etc. these would most likey work perfect for you.

Putting treble hooks on jerk baits is a challenge with any tool. However, it is far easier with these pliers. I have found no negative about them.

I use these almost daily with my crafts. Right size for small to medium sized hands. I like the locking mechanism so they store easily. Light weight and has a wire cutter on the blades. Definitely priced right. Ease of use, I have issues with my hands and these are light weight enough that I can use them easily without causing discomfort.I recommend these pliers.

Great tool to have in your tackle box. The cutter will even cut lightweight braid line.
