So helpful
These are so helpful not only to warm your hands but especially for ear pain. Good that they come in pack of 5. Don't need to boil them each time after use, I can wait until all are ready to be boiled

Kept my hands warm in Iceland
Incredibly helpful hand warmers. Put them in the pocket of my coat to warm my body and hands. Absolutely loved them. They stay warm for a long time, but I felt that the initial heat surge was the nicest and they cooled down to a body temperature quite quickly, Granted it was very cold in Iceland. The only downside when you are on a holiday is that you need to boil them after one use to re-use. If you have easy access to a hob, just pop them in a pan with water. Easy!

Heat not as expected
Worked well at first but VERY quickly cooled down, was completely cold within 45-50 minutes. It was kept in my coat pocket the entire time. I was expecting a longer heat time so am a little disappointed. Also never reached the 55°C it claims, maybe got to half of that, if anything.

Doesn't stay warm for long.
I only added these to my basket because of the amazon savings if you buy 4 qualifying items. I've bought hand warmers decades ago, which stayed hot for maybe an hour or two. These arrived today and it's 17 degrees in the house because I had the windows open to get fresh air in. So, not too chilly. Thought I'd try one before giving them to my mum. As other reviews have said these they only stay hot for 15mins then are room temperature! The packaging is designed so you have to destroy the wrapping to get the gel pads out. As another review has said, if I hadn't destroyed the packaging I might have returned them. Not fit for use.

Really good. Good big size and very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Not the best I've used, not the worst!
Ive reused these a few times now and I'm pleased to say all are still intact. They are a good size and good value, but they just don't get quite as hot as others I've tried. I wonder if this is because they have a bit of colouring in...who knows! But I would buy again :-)
