We live in Hawaii where bed bugs, ukus (lice), and roaches are more common than you’d like to think. We recently visited with family and unknowingly transferred bed bugs into our own home. Tried alcohol, spray advertised to treat bed bugs, plastic on mattresses, nothing was completely stopping them from feasting on us at night. I was washing 5 sets of complete bed sheets on hot every other day, and vacuuming fabric surfaces/floors and mopping daily. It got EXHAUSTING. Bought this as a last ditch effort and my family of seven are no longer waking up with bites. May not be a permanent solution since I’m still treating the bed bugs weekly but I can sleep in peace knowing they’ll die off with no escape.

I’m very pleased with my new mattress protector as someone who traveled some years back and brought home bedbugs in my luggage I can appreciate this product because it saved me from having to throw away my very expensive mattress. I recently purchased a new mattress topper and decided to enclose it to the top of my mattress with this new one. My old mattress protector same brand as this one was still intact and doing great so I have no problem assuming that the new one will not perform just as well.

Very happy with product so far. I've tried others and the fit is usually a little too big for a sofabed mattress but surprisingly this fit perfectly. Not too much excess material and fit snugly but not too tight that I couldn't zipper. I also like that this does not just cover the top of the mattress but all the way around on all 6 sides. I poured a litle water to see if it would leak through and it did not happily. It doesn't make a crackle sound when moving around and is soft enough and comfortable. An overall good buy for the price!

This lasted 2 academic years and still has its softness and support. I stored it rolled up over the summer and there was no issue come August for the next room. Unfortunately, new apartment is a twin, so I am going to try to fold it down from full to twin.

This protector fits my bed perfectly. My bed is 10". It has a little bit of a vinyl smell but that was to be expected. I really love it and it was easy to put on. I did it by myself. Well worth the money.

I got this for the camper mattress a day it fits perfectly.May be an issue if you are hoping to cover a mattress and a topper.Having a topper on ours makes it too hard to get around the bed, so we removed what was left by the previous owners.I feel better about having other stay with us knowing I just need to change sheets. And when left over the winter, bugs and things can't get to the mattress

We needed protection not just for top of mattress but sides as well. This fits the bill perfectly. I was easily able to slide this onto a heavy, 12” queen mattress by myself. It is thin, quiet, not noisy like the old vinyl protectors.Price was good, and Amazon means quick delivery. Have not tested water resistance but composition points to it being effective there.

I recently invested in a new fancy mattress but was really worried about staining something I spent so much on. I feel much better knowing this is keeping it safe. It goes on very easy, is very comfortable, and not crinkly at all!

I had intentionally ordered the slightly taller height as I was worried about shrinkage after washing.Impressed with the item's quality, which has not moved at all, I will re-order this mattress cover again with, of course, the correct size when the time is right.
