A great putting aid. Takes a little time to set up properly in line with a hole but works well.

Not clear from photo that its just a piece of cloth

I got this to teach basic golf skills in a special education environment. It is very simple and allows me to replicate a real hole in preparation for getting children with autism used to some golf skills and familiar with how to set up in preparation for taking them to a golf course when and if they feel ready. It is great that the hole dimensions are the same as a real hole too as this helps for learning away from a golf course. There are 6 free training videos too which you can access via a QR code which comes inside the packaging and helps you understand how to use the mat correctly. Very light and compact which makes this very user friendly as takes up minimal storage space and can be used anywhere.

This putting stroke training mat comes very nicely packaged in a little steel tin so you can keep it nice and safe, but it also means it makes a lovely gift. When you unfold the mat, you notice it’s made from a lovely soft material with deep rich colours to stand out against the black background of the mat when you are standing up. It was quite tricky to get the creases out of it and in the end I gave it a low heat iron to smooth it out and then it was fine on a solid floor but if you put it on anything else like carpet or grass outside it doesn't work so this is very much an indoor wooden floor practice mat which then means you can actually use a ball as that won’t give you an accurate representation of putting on a green. That being said it did help with my stroke and swing technique to make sure I was drawing it back correctly and following through. Overall, for £14.99 currently it’s not a bad price for the mat and nice tin it comes in, but I think it needs a deal to be good value for money.

this really does work. if you've not had any professional guidance or training, you will probably have some bad habits. this is a brilliant little training accessory. you need to be focused and take some time to practice, but if you stick at it, you will see improvements in your posture and swing. the quality is very good, the instructions and clear but i would suggest watching a couple of youtube videos to get the best out of it.

Portable but not easy to use and much smaller than expected

I was told I needed to have more of an arc to my putting stroke. I also had a problem of my putts always going to the right due to the fact I was not closing the face on the through swing. This product helped me to understand how to properly allow the club to arc and how to make sure the face starts to close on the follow through. I use this along with a putting ruler. I haven't had a three putt since I started using both products because it has allowed me to feel very confident over my putts. All I do now is focus on the line and then I hit my putts with full confidence. I no longer hit my putts to the right (push putts).
