Excellent for beat saber
I really love the feel of these. I tried them first without the weights and ended up putting both weights in to maximize the workout. They are easy to put on (can be a little tricky to feed the wrist loops through but I really didn't think just wrapping the strings down and tightening the pieces together was the best way to secure them. I found that after getting a little aggressive in my playing one of my handles would loosen up just enough to make me concerned that it might come flinging out at some point, so I'd have to stop and readjust everything. Also, no matter how well seated and tightened down you get it, when you need to charge your batteries, you've got to pull it all apart. That part was frustrating because you work to get them perfectly seated and secure and then you have to disassemble it half way to recharge it.

Well designed, solid materials, good length, but 4 stars because the weights rattle
I have only used them 3 times with one weight installed, so this is only first-impression feedback.PROS: The design is well thought out. I like that the grips attach to the handle part of the controller instead of the halo at the top like so many others do. These don't add a lot of length to the controllers, which is good if you use them in a smaller space. I think it also makes it less likely that you'll bang the controllers into each other when moving quickly. The adjustable weight is cool. The foam grips are comfortable. Being able to thread the controller wrist straps through the grips is a nice security feature.CONS: The biggest con is that the weights don't fit tightly into the handle. You have to install 2 included foam spacers with the weights but, as another review mentioned, the foam is basically just packing peanuts, and it doesn’t account for the side-to-side gap. By the 3rd time using them (Beat Saber) the weights started rattling. The foam seems like a lazy solution in an otherwise well-designed product. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but since the weights are a big reason for choosing these handles over others, improving this part of the design would make a huge difference in customer satisfaction.Other than the weights, the blue insert can shift and get misaligned when you open the collar. Then the controller potentially seats incorrectly, and I worry it might not hold securely. It's easy to re-align by taking the collar off and reseating the insert tabs in the notches, but it would be better if it wasn't so easy to get misaligned in the first place. It is also difficult/fiddly to thread the controller’s wrist strap through a hole in the grip base because of the handle foam, but that’s a minor issue.COMMENT: Something obvious in retrospect, but that I hadn’t thought about until I got them - you cannot operate any of the controller's buttons while gripping the handles. The strap is long enough to shift your grip up to the controller itself, but it's a little awkward. (I've been using my opposite hand to operate the trigger in Beat Saber instead of shifting my grip.) So, be aware that these won’t be good for any games that require you to use the buttons while you play. But, I've not seen any handles that do that, so not really a con, just a comment.CONCERNS: I worry about how long the foam grips will last, especially with sweaty games or exercise aps. The blue inserts that fit the handle to the unusual controller shape seem sturdy and fit great, but two segments are very thin with little material between the grip and the controller. If the material (silicone?) compresses or wears away with use, I’m concerned about how long before the controller isn’t held firmly.SUGGESTIONS to the makers: Improve the design for holding the weights! Make the retaining tab on the blue insert sturdier or secure it in a hole rather than a notch to hold the insert in place better when the collar is loosened. Leave a little more clearance for the wrist strap to pass through the handle. If you want to go a step above, add something to the grip so you can identify the orientation of the controller with the headset on. It’s really easy to spin it around if you adjust your grip while playing. Something tactile so you can tell up from down would be an excellent addition.

No More Rings, No More Claw grip
With the Quest 3 around the corner I decided to get used to standard grip again but I couldn't find a comfortable way to hold the stock Quest 2 controllers. Took a chance with these and I like them. Easy off, easy on for battery changes. If you've used other similar style grips before, the additional Velcro strap around the ring is annoying take on/off and looks weird. I found these grips more comfortable with padded workout gloves. Didn't end up using the weights as I felt the extra strain on my wrists right away but I might use them in the future. I uninstalled the stock wrist straps completely from my controllers and used low alcohol cleaning wipes to make sure there wasn't any sweat or grease left on my controllers before installing. I only wish these had a notch so I knew which direction my rings were facing with out looking. If Meta and Beat Games would come out with official Beat Saber controllers I’d buy them in a heart beat, as Beat Saber is the only Quest game I still play. Until then, these grips work for me.

Problems easy to fix
This works great except only for the so very cheap foam spacers included... they were garbage.BUT everything else in the build is impressively solid and precise. Both problems others have noted can be solved easily (for a quest 2 controller):1. For a Quest 2 controller, the factory lanyard is long enough to loop entirely around the bottom of the grip. Bring it back up and tighten it right where the grip meets the large metal collar. Rotate to keep the string from bothering your hand. Now the controller, if it gets loose, will not fly across the room.2. Rattling... this can and will happen without modification. The foam will compress, and you will need to keep feeding it new foam to crush.. and perhaps it will never be enough. The solution costs less than 10 dollars at your local hardware store. i) Basic 16mm or 5/8 inch outer diameter compression spring about 70mm long + 16mm or 5/8 inch outer diameter flat washer(s) works great with one supplied weight. iii) one 16mm or 5/8 inch outer diameter o-ring (black rubber... quite common in faucets) + one 16mm or 5/8 inch washer works great with two supplied weights. The washer is there to cover and protect the o-ring, both of which you can place on top of the two weights. Two o-rings can be used one below and one in between the weights if you don't mind screwing the cap hard right against a weight. In any case, these solutions are very cheap and create a totally solid rattle-free experience.Although it is a bit of money to spend to have to go out and buy additional hardware for it.. the end result is well worth it... and doing it is actually enjoyable.

Some mods needed to make them work
The main issue was the nuts holding controllers in place kept unscrewing. It took couple of hours at a time, but it's something which can get really annoying in a middle of a beatsaber match. Duct tape is an ugly solution, but considering I don't need to see it while I'm playing, it's good enough. Also after a while the foam on the handles gets rather icky - repalcing it with a piece of thick leather string worked great. Also, one of the straps supplied snapped after a few weeks so I replaced them with the left over leather string. After the fixes I'm very happy with them :).

Amazing value
The quality of these handles is surprising good especially for the price. They are solid metal and well finished.Pros are the excellent build quality and the ability to change the weight. I expect them to last much longer than the few months I usually get out of the plastic ones due to the solid metal construction.Cons are that they are difficult to set up properly and that they are heavy, I personally find that a Pro though. If you want light handles then these are not for you.TipI found using a cable tie on the wrist strap of the quest controller helped threading the wrist strap when attaching the handles (see pictures). Also if you are going to use the weights, a bit of tape on the weights stops them rattling. It would be nice if there was a neater solution for dealing with the wrist straps but not enough of an issue for me to knock off a star.
