Just connect between spark plug & plug wire,turn engine over & you get a nice bright spark in the glass tube inside the tester. Previously; had no spark, bad ignition coil, Replaced module;retested, now engine statrs & runs ok. Makes the job easier with the right tool. Terrell C Jones.

One fell apart in my hand, the other I was able to repair with electrical tape. Really poor quality. Keep looking
