XOSS Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Heart Rate with Chest Strap Health Accessories (Black Bluetooth&ant+)

I really liked this one. I had another one before but it started really giving up on me, being inaccurate, and was not really that solid proof. You kinda also had to guess when it was on.So you just splash water on the contact part of the strap and put the strap around your chest, which locks in and adjusts very easily.Unlike the other sensor which I also bought from amazon, the iGPSPORT HR35 Heart Rate Monitor which really failed at the end, this one is a game changer. It has discrete tactile things in one corner so you can position it perfectly every time. it beeps twice to let you know its made contact with the strap and its ready to use.You then go to whatever is your preferred app for tracking stats and find it there and connect to it. Its just solid, it really takes less than 3 seconds to connect and start tracking.It has tracked my workouts find every time, never having strange dropouts as it used to happen with the other one.When you are done you just stop tracking on the app and close everything, then you pull and unplug the sensor from the strap and immediately rinse it with some water, then dry it well, especially the metallic small contacts that connect to it to avoid corrosion and eventual malfunctions. Do the same with the strap, wash it by rinsing it as soon as you can and pay attention to the metallic contacts, then hang it somewhere, (your shower door is probably fine) and it will dry in about two or three hours at most. You can also wash the strap with some mild soap every week assuming you work out every day but sweat does not really leave that much of a smell if you rinse with water soon enough.The unit will beep with a slightly longer tone to let you know it has turned off.After about 6 months of use I have not tried or needed to replace the battery but I think it would not be really hard to do either.Also, I really like that the strap in this one is well designed and the plastic contact strip does not peel or come off like the other one did.So really well done. I am really satisfied!

The XOSS Heart Rate Monitor paired quickly with the fitness app I use. The readings match my smart watch exactly but the XOSS reacts much quicker to changes in my heart rate. Also, the free XOSS app that comes with the monitor is great for recording my outdoor cycling rides. It tracks speed, distance, time, elevation as well as heart rate and several other metrics.

Update: when it works it’s great. It still works but now it doesn’t shut down unless I disconnect the strap, killing batteries. Need to find more straps and batteries. Otherwise it is nice and works awesome on fresh batteries.Recently I’ve had some heart issues that require me to work out and track my heart. I use the MAP MY apps and this connects instantly. I’ve used at least 15 times. My only challenge has been connecting accuracy to my body. I’ve had a couple workouts I needed to generate enough sweat for it all to connect. I generally now use a little spit to make sure I’ve got a contact. Unexpected I needed to purchase a bike computer after getting this. I also got XOSS. I was surprised at how easy it was to connect to that and phone app at the same time.

Mine works perfectly! Unlike another reviewer, mine came with clear (English) instructions but they really weren't necessary...you just have to follow the directions in the app you chose. I'm using Polar Beat as it gives me all the info I want but may try one of the many other apps this monitor will work with!Should I join a gym or buy a device that sends an ANT signal this monitor should work with them as well!At half the price or less than many other similar devices, I'm more than satisfied! While I've only had mine for a few days, other than a simple battery change when necessary, I don't see why it won't last a long time!

this is a nice product. i can use it with my indoor spin bike, or use it while riding my mtb. all the info is sent to my phone. i just strap it on and i'm gone. highly recommend this product & the seller. :) ;)

This unit, when it has a new battery, is accurate, and it connected easily to all of my gps cycling computers. However, it goes through batteries faster than I can buy them. I disconnect the transmitter from the chest belt after each use, and it would always beep once, letting me know that it had shut off. I stored the strap and transmitter in separate rooms, but that didn't help. I would get about a week out of a battery before I'd have to replace it. Perhaps I just received a faulty unit. I have had to switch back to my 15 year old Motorola HRM.

If you have a Peloton, this review is for you :)I have the original Peloton bike. If you don’t have the newer bike+, you know what a struggle it is to get your HR from your Apple Watch to reliably sync with your bike classes, and the peloton brand chest strap also doesn’t work well (plus it costs $50). Both the Apple Watch and peloton chest strap would disconnect randomly from the bike during the middle of my rides, or they freeze/don’t work at all.So I got this on a whim after being frustrated with never having reliable HR metrics, and it’s worked amazingly so far for over 10 rides! I’m pleasantly surprised :) I will update if anything changes because I haven’t had it for too long, but so far so good!! highly recommend this chest strap plus it was only $30

Received my XOSS HRM today. The seller was very quick to dispatch the product and packaging was nice. The product came with a removable battery installed. The product manual is short and crispy and illustrations are very easy to understand. The connecting buttons felt little rigid and with slight pressure the sensor could be fitted with the strap. One way this is good as the sensor will not fall off during exercise. Connecting the sensor with my Garmin watch was butter smooth and quite accurate readings. I previously used a Garmin HRM sensor and since that gave in after long use I switched to Xoss. I am happy that heart rate readings are same. This is light weight and built quality is good. I am fully satisfied with the product.

I tried XOSS wrist heart monitor and chest strap, wrist did not work at all for me so I returned it, however, chest strap worked very well, so I ordered the second one for my spouse. We both already have XOSS computer and so far (about a month of use several times per week - 3 to 5 ours per trip) they all work perfectly well.

I have a XOSS G+ device with me and to improve my cycling performance I ordered a XOSS Heart Rate Monitor device to track my heart rate during thr ride. The device was delivered to me in one day advance than promised date. It was hassfree to connect the HR device to XOSS device. Expecting a wonderful performance from the device too. Will update my feedback after using the device for few days.

This is the first heart monitor strap I have used. Was easy to connect to my Garmin.
