Good book, worth the money.

Although I did enjoy the book, I felt that it was too short and not enough detail. It just seem to gloss over the events!

The true story of the jersey boys was excellent I enjoy reading there story as I have seen Jersey boys on stage in London and I thought it was mavallous I also watch the jersey boys the film and I really enjoy that the songs are great and I didn't realize how many songs frankie valli had done I was interested to know that frankie calling had been in films as well.and didn't realise till reading this book how much family tragedy he had read the book you enjoy it worth fivestars

First of all i'd take exception with the word "book". Its nothing more than a pamphlet (with very large type in a vain attempt to make it bigger!). For an artist with such a history this is an incredibly poor effort, would be better off reading Wikipedia. Would give it MINUS 5-Stars if i could and by looking at the other reviews i'm not alone. Terrible.

Last Christmas I bought my mum a copy of Jersey Boys and on one of the days before the New Year we sat and watched this amazing story (based on the stage musical).As I watched the movie I was impressed by the amount of songs by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons that I knew. I mean, sure I had been aware of the group but mainly it was because they were featured on some of my favourite movie soundtracks – most notably, Dirty Dancing.What I didn’t know was the hardships and the troubles that the band went through. It was truly fascinating so when I saw Jennifer Warner’s book I was intrigued. There is only so much that you can get from a movie and I wanted to know the nitty-gritty.The True Story of the Jersey Boys – The Story Behind Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons is a potted history and is a great starting point for anyone wanting to learn information behind the music. Loved the story.

The book itself is not very good qualityI doubt the accuracy of the contentfor exampleThe sequence of songs released as reported in this book is somewhat inaccurateThe book stares that Dawn was released in 1965 well after Rag Dollwhen in factDawn was releasd in Jan 1964 and Rag Doll in June 64It also suggests that Working my way back to you (released in 1966), was released after Lets hang on which was relased in 1665I could go on!!!!

A slim volume but a nice little book and has the story behind Frankie Valli and the other Jersey Boys! Bought it because I have seen the London show and like their songs! A good size of book to pop in your pocket to read on the train or tube!

After seeing the movie twice, I wanted to know more, and this book ispretty thorough. It is important to remember that all people have aback story and it helps to understand them better when you becomemore informed. Enjoyed it very much.

This is a good, short look at the story of the Four Seasons, the Jersey Boys. I had see the movie first (and loved it), and this book tells pretty much the same story, with some minor, but true, differences. Movies always take literary license to provide the best entertainment. I felt I had gotten the basics of the singing group's history. I recommend this book.

Jennifer Warner's paperback and e-book seems to be a beginners' guide to the group, aimed at Jersey Boys audiences who might be curious to know more. It's among a large number of unofficial bios in the independent Life Cap series.This is not even a good writing job and I am starting to wonder if the author's name Jennifer Warner is even real. The whole thing sounds like it was sourced from the Internet (verified by the bibliography) and nothing appears to be fact checked. Frankie's name is spelled Fran20cesco Stephen Castelluccio. No it's not my typo it has a 20 in the middle of his first name.The Kindle version is about than 40 pages and each Kindle page is about 1/3 the size of a usual book, so it's really not much more than a pamphlet.You'll find out more by reading Wikipedia.
