It really resembles barn wood, especially from a distance. It is also quite comfortable to stand on. I have one in front of my kitchen sink and another one by the door. I wouldn't neccesarily use it to wipe muddy feet on, but it definitely helps add that shabby-country character to my home that I'm going for. It's literally the size of an average welcome mat so the awesome nails are only printed once on the mat. But for my little studio it served its purpose. I was able to at least do a head shoot on it but i will be looking for a larger one for the future. Looks real in pictures and even in the studio the client thought it was real wood( from a distance anyway).
