So much easier than constant sunscreen!
Sizes that fit and measurements of my daughters for your comparison at the end:I was paranoid about the size since I haven't bought clothes on line before and my wife ordinarily buys my daughters clothes. I mention this because when I bought this item there was a Tuga specific size chart, and now there is some sort of more generic Amazon one. I came back to buy sets for my nephews (they sell the same thing in boy styles) so then I went to the Tuga website for a more specific size chart.Anyway I love this set. Not only does it seem stylish (to me anyway), but it covers a lot of skin which makes putting on sunscreen for long and repeated sun exposure so much easier. I went looking for an option when we went to stay at a beach resort last year. I knew my oldest daughter (then 5 years old, now 6 and the Tuga size 5/6 still fits fine) would be spending all day for days at the beach and in the pool. I dreaded having to carefully coat and recoat her in sunscreen repeatedly. I still have to put sunscreen on her face and legs, but it is still much easier. The material is like a swimsuit. It's easy to swim in and dries reasonably quickly on or off the body. It's very comfortable even in water, bu one downside is that when you come out, you have cold wet water stuck to you (as opposed to bare skin which dries faster). That was never really a problem for us, but it's something to know especially for a lake or "cold" places. A towel solves the problem pretty well if the child is done playing, but they're never really "done" are they?I just came back a month or so ago to buy another set for my younger daughter (2 years old) since she is old enough this year to spend a lot more time at the beach and pool.HERE IS MY SIZE INFORMATION:My oldest daughter was always a bit tall for clothing (especially infant and toddler sizes, less so now). She was 43-1/2 inches at 5 yrs, 5 mo. and we bought the 5/6 Tuga size set. It fit just fine; arms were a bit long. I used her weight too at the time, but I don't have a record of it. She's slim. One year later at 6yrs, 3 mo. she was 45-7/8 inches tall. It still fit her fine.My youngest daughter has always been short (or perhaps more average) for clothing. At 2yrs, 1-1/2 mo. she was 32 3/4 inches tall. We bought her the Tuga size 2/3 set. I worried it would be too big since she was really close or even below the bottom of the Tuga 2/3 size chart measurements, but it was fine. I would expect her to be able to wear it another year.Go to the Tuga website for their manufacturer specific size chart. I found it more comfortable to use my daughters measurements against the manufacturer's recommendations.

These are fine unless your girl is starting to develop.
My granddaughter likes the look, but she is starting to develop and this is too revealing unless she wears a sports bra under it. I also bought another type or rash guard for her from another company that was similar material, and it had a design (stripes) over the chest area, on the outside, of a rubbery material. That prevented it from being so revealing. For girls who are a little older, that is a good idea. But, this one is great for younger girls, or if an older girl doesn't mind wearing a sports bra underneath.

A little pricey, but worth it for quality
My kids LOVES this set (we got one for each child). Note, the shorts have a 'bicycle pant'-like fit - that said, while they fit close, they are not tight (we followed the size chart and it was a perfect fit for both kids). The first thing my oldest said when she tried it on was, "Now I won't get sand in my shorts!". The fabric is a good quality, the arms are long enough, and the colors are bright and fun. Both kids have worn them a dozen times or more this summer and the color and fabric are still good - no fading or stretching yet.

cute, but shorts need something underneath
My girls like these, but the shorts are not designed to be swimsuit bottoms, they have an uncomfortable seam instead of a crotch. So we got extra swimsuit bottoms to wear underneath them, but that just adds extra trouble. I bought them in purple, pink, and blue for my triplets, and the purple one's colors ran and stained the white part. But they do keep my girls from getting sunburned, and they aren't too hot in the summer despite the long sleeves.

Fit as expected !
I bought this for my daughter who is 7 years old who wears size 7, the sleeves are longer for her but I purposely bought a size up as this was $50 for a rash guard set which I think is really pricey and so I wanted it to last for another 2 years atleast and I am glad I made teh right decision. I didnt have to use toxic sunscreen on her sensitive skin so I do recommend this rash guard. The only negative factor is its pricey.

Just purchase the top
I bought this two piece set for my daughter. LOVE the top! It has survived two summers and I am purchasing another top because my daughter has outgrown the original. I will not be buying the two piece set. The shorts were always falling off. The waist is not adjustable or elastic. It's like it's made to sit on their hips but I don't know many 2 yr olds with hips! The metal gromets that hold the decorative tie rusted and the rust spread onto the fabric...not so pretty. My advise is to not spend the extra $ on the bottoms and purchase the top only.

My daughter really likes the blue and the fit is ...
My daughter really likes the blue and the fit is flattering. I wish there was some type of extra material in the chest, because it's not forgiving. She has to wear a bikini top underneath to keep it appropriate. That's the reason I only gave the product 4 stars.

Great fit, soft feel
Top looser than bottoms on my daughter. She loves the way it fits, says it is super soft, and it keeps her entire midriff covered when she bends or raises her arms! This is great so we don't have to worry about that small amount of back getting burned. I only wish the top was also offered in a cap or 3/4 sleeve length.
