Worth a try :)
I needed a supplement that had a good amount of protein, and seeing this one with collagen sealed the deal for me. Love a 2-for-1!! I have added this to both protein coffee and oatmeal. I use 2 scoops of Javvy protein coffee and one scoop of bone broth powder to 16 oz of filtered water. Shaking it up in a blenderbottle does cause froth, but the froth dissipates within 5 minutes. It has no taste in coffee. In oatmeal I use one scoop, and I can’t taste it either, but I also add strawberries and a drizzle of honey and cinnamon, so that could be masking the flavor. Adding the bone broth powder causes half a cup of oatmeal to a cup of water to thin out and be runny, so if runny oatmeal isn’t your thing, keep that in mind.I’ve only been using this for about a week or two, but it’s been great so far. :) No hunger cravings, I feel full for longer, and it doesn’t bother me digestion wise which is great.

Being slightly Lactose intolerable; I've had no issues with this product.
The one problem I have with this product was minute, and didn't deserve a star knock down.Sum of my findings:Taste: Good, not chalky.Ingredients: Protein to Calorie ratio is awesome. Only has 5 ingredients; amazing for a protein powder!Blending: It doesn't dissolve right away with a blender bottle, but if you read their description it recommends a BLENDER, which I do not use.Digestive Level: Lactose turns me into a gassy beast, I've had no issues with this product.Full Review:Taste: The vanilla is more present than the chocolate in my mixture, neither is potent enough to ruin my shake. Once blended it is smooth, not chalky. Don't let the title fool you! It doesn't taste anything like the broth you put in soups.Ingredients: The protein to Calorie ratio is the best I've seen so far in my hunts. There's only 2.7 grams that isn't protein! Most powders I've seen range from 8 to 15 gram difference (you should really avoid the ones that have more than a 10 gram difference, they're complete garbage at that point). If you're not getting a protein powder for the protein... what's the point? There's only five ingredients in this mix and you can pronounce each one. The more ingredients in a powder, the poorer the quality of product. Chances are if you can't pronounce the ingredients, you probably shouldn't be ingesting them. Most end up being man-made preservative garbage.Blending: I only use blender bottles, so I am sure it mixes far better in the recommended blender idea, but I found when I make my drink, give it a good shake, throw it into the fridge for 10-20mins, give it a good shake, it works just fine. By that time, the powder will have smoothly blended in with the rest of my shake.Taste: In my case, I like mixing this with almond milk, and coffee. The powder gives it the perfect amount of sweetness. The vanilla flavor is more present and the chocolate one is more mellow, but I haven't found this product to be over powering. It also mixes well with my other protein powder.Digestive Level: This product doesn't upset my stomach or disrupt my natural body functions. I am slightly lactose intolerant and wasn't sure how this protein powder would play out. Ingesting anything with lactose tends to make me gassy (as if a fart has ever stopped me from enjoying dairy), but this powder didn't react negatively in any way.I've been using this product along side Hydro Whey for the past two months. I love my Hydro Whey, but this is a better product. If you're looking for a good quality protein powder with a great protein to calorie ratio and something that won't upset your digestive system, I definitely recommend this product.

Blends easily? It depends. Tastes good? It depends.
I was apprehensive about buying because the reviews were all over the board...it blends, it doesn't blend, it's clumpy, it mixes well, it tastes great, it tastes awful...here is the scoop.I have recently developed an aversion to the smell of meat, and the taste. I needed something to make up for my lack of protein, and I didn't want to rely on sweet protein shake mixes. When you open the container, yes, it does smell a little like a meat product, but not enough to make me disgusted.I initially tried it by boiling water and pour it over the powder to make a paste. I ended up with a clumpy mess. Then I tried taking that a putting it in a portable blender, which only has one speed, and made it frothy. I waited for the froth to dissipate, and tried it plain. EH. It was not bland, but had a slight "meat" taste, again not enough to disgust me, but I wasn't pleased.I did a bit of research on what to do with plain beef broth to make it palatable, and mostly you add salt and other spices such as turmeric, ginger, etc.. The second attempt I boiled water, put a cup of it in my Vitamix, put in the broth powder, soy sauce and some hot sauce, blended very slowly, and "Voila" I had a palatable cup of broth that wasn't frothy. Winner. Now I have a way to consume the broth somewhat enjoyably. It's possible that I might not need to boil the water before putting it in the blender, but, I like to drink mine warm, so I am not going to try blending without the hot water. It isn't quite as simple as "just add water" to get the broth, but it is definitely easier than making it from scratch. I realize that I am a bit more picky than most due to my recent aversion to meat, but I hope this helps someone who might be wondering about getting it.

Excellent, Safe Source of Protein
I love this protein powder! My family and I (four of us) go through about 1.5 tubs every month. We put it in our smoothies. It is a great addition because it ensures we get the right amount of protein and adds a great smooth texture to the smoothie. It does have a little bit of what I would describe as a "toasted" flavor, but the flavor blends well with a fruit and greens smoothie.I'm a Doctor of Chiropractic, so I monitor my family's health closely. For numerous reasons, our family largely avoids dairy. This means we don't use whey protein powder. We also try to source our foods from safe and healthy sources. If you are dairy free and want protein powder from a healthy animal, give this grass fed bone broth powder a try!It can be hard to get all the protein you need without utilizing some sort of protein powder. This product helps you get enough protein in a healthy way!
