The price is just right!!!

((( YOU MUST PUT QUALITY STRINGS ON BEFORE JUDGING IT )))
Okay, first off let me say that you cannot judge this Cuatro unless you first put a high-quality set of strings on it. The intonation was unacceptable until I put these excellent strings on then it became acceptable enough. Not perfect, but acceptable enough considering the price of the instrument. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D53KJQI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I am a guitarist and decided to experiment by tuning the Cuatro as though it is a 12 string regular acoustic guitar without the low E string. VOILA!! Quite startling!!! It brings the tuning of the entire instrument down 1 1/2 steps. The high G string goes down to an E string, just like a standard guitar. The action goes down a bit and it becomes easier to play. Bottom line is I am so impressed by having this small "12 string guitar" without the low E string that I am seriously considering buying another one. Customer service has been wonderful. As a matter of fact, it is because of the kindness of the people at customer service that I am considering buying another Cuatro from them. We'll see. Oh, the graphic EQ and pickup in the unit is quite excellent!
