Nonprofit Kit Fd 5e (For Dummies)

My mother wanted to start a non-profit. I have a background in business but not in building non-profits. I bought this book hoping for just a little insight. I was very please to find not only insight but instructions. This book walks you step by step the process to set up a non-profit company. I found it to be incredibly helpful and would recommend anyone looking for the know how to start a non-profit purchase this book.A few words of caution. First if you are looking for information specific to your state it will not be in this book. The do however suggest where the information can be found. Second some of the links they provide are no longer active. That being said, if you go to the Non-Profit for Dummies website and search the form they are referring to it is easy enough to find.The book is priced well, so even with the two cautions above its still well worth the money.

Such a great book. It breaks down all the chapters, so you can clearly understand. I tabbed them to help me to get to the chapters faster. If you are new to nonprofit, like I was, you’ll get a lot out of this book.

This is a good blueprint for new and old NFP people and has a wealth of information, a bible for interested folks!!!

The font is sooo small and the pages are recycle... which is great but hard to read. Lots of great info!

I found this product excellent for training newbie nonprofit individuals. I found myself constantly explaining things to my group, but once I got the book, I just told them to read it. Now things are great. Very informative.

I bought this as a gift for a loved one in jail and he is unable to use it because they do not have internet access there. Waste of money.

This book is so, so good. I'm in the process of founding a nonprofit arts center, and was floundering around on how to get started until I read this book. All of a sudden, the path to getting going was clear and I've made a lot of progress. If you're starting a nonprofit, I would definitely read this book; it's a great primer.

good book, very detailed, only took a star off due to it really need a tad more current information on new laws..
