But we found one of the sunglasses was broken. I purchased these for my 8yr old and they barely fit his face (and he's a slim kid). There's now way these would fit any 12 year old. The true size range IMO is 3-7. The carry case is easy to clip into a bag strap which makes it easier to put the glasses in for protection without rummaging through my bag to find it.They seemed to work well as eye protectors as my daughters complained a lot about the sun hurting her eyes. Once she got them and wore them while outside then the complaining stopped.I tried other glasses and still got complaints, so I know these ones do something to stop her eyes hurting.The only ‘downfall’ to these I have come across is that they are so well liked by kids that they get stolen easily...
