Nice picture, decent brightness, no lines, not bad pixels, great on the eyes, 27inch 100x100mm VESA
Purchased for an animator custom build. It has a very small top, left & right border an a nice included stand, but using it with a basic NB arm 100x100mm VESA mount. I totally agree with other reviewers on the built speakers being weak, not just volume output lower than expected, the sound is very tinny, but functional. The good news, is I didn't buy it for the sound, since the animator has real reference speakers at each end of her desk. Initially was worried when I saw it was shipped with no outer carton, but everything was arrived OK. Would really like to see BenQ include a real printed manual vs include a CDROM with PDFs on it. I guess someone still uses CDROM? If nothing else, put a QR code on the double fold sheet to the URL for the PDF. I would but it again, it will be interesting to hear the feedback from the user once she uses it for 60-80hrs in a week. included HDMI cable is about 1m (3feet) long. Would be nice if it was 2m in length, and included 4 x VESA 10mm screws. It is a good quality mid range monitor that is easy on the eyes out of the box for a decent price.

Great monitor recommend getting one
Like: If you are on a budget this is a really good monitor. I usually play games on my Dell G3 Laptop and I wanted a monitor with a big screen. Well, I found this monitor while its on sale. Finally received it and it was quick when it comes to shipping. The packaging was very clean. It was very easy to setup and you do not need any tools to set this up. The video looks great. I would have bought one with 144hz 1ms for gaming, but I’m on a budget. I would go all out if I was more into first person shooting games, but it does it’s job. I’m going to purchase another one. I also love how BenQ provided the hdmi cable. That’s a plus in my books since I don’t need to purchase one. Other than that I have no issues with it. Works great with my eyes since it uses that special feature to turn off the blue light. Great for long lasting gaming without stressing my eyes since I play World of Warcraft Classic. Also love how thin the boarders are. Dislike: The speaker on the monitor are way too low. Thats expected on any monitor in my books. That’s the only thing I dislike about this monitor. Other than that I’m still giving this monitor a 5 stars since I’m just using this as a monitor. If I wanted great sound then I would rather buy external speakers. I’m more in it for the picture. Check out the photos I posted and hope this helps.

BenQ 27 inch monitor ROCKS!
I had to replace my 10 year old monitor when it finally blew up. I wanted something nice but affordable. This unit was indeed a good price at the moment I was shopping. I wanted to replace my secondary monitor as well, but wanted to try one of these before adding another. Bad decision. The first one arrived and I was instantly in love. Colors are bright, the frame is very, very thin, and the display is very crisp. I'm no longer much of a gamer, so I can't comment on using one for gaming, but for all of my needs this one was perfect. The day after receiving the monitor, I came back to buy another one, but there were none to be had unless I wanted to pay double what I'd paid for the first one. I was patient and waited. After a few weeks it came back at the lower price and I snagged a second one. An hour after I ordered my second one, they were out of stock at the low price again. I'm not sure I would pay the regular retail price for this monitor, but then again I'm frugal. For a monitor in my price range this was far beyond the quality that I expected. Ultimately I added an inexpensive dual monitor arm and I've never been so pleased with a setup in my life. I've had the first monitor about a month, so I can't yet speak to its long-term performance, but the initial impression is that these are the nicest monitors I've ever used.

Great Value Monitor with a Few Sound Quality Drawbacks
I recently purchased 2 BenQ GW2780 Computer Monitors and overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The monitor offers excellent value for its price point and boasts some impressive features. One of the standout features is the Eye-Care Technology, which significantly reduces eye strain during extended periods of use. As a software developer, I spend countless hours staring at screens, and this feature has made a noticeable difference in reducing eye fatigue. The monitor's display quality is crisp and vibrant, providing a comfortable workspace for coding and design tasks. The size is also perfect for multitasking, allowing me to have multiple windows open simultaneously. However, there is one area where the monitor falls short – the built-in speakers. Unfortunately, they sound noticeably worse than my laptop speakers. For someone who occasionally enjoys watching videos or having conference calls without headphones, this could be a drawback. In conclusion, the BenQ GW2780 offers an impressive display, value for its price, and eye-care technology that is a significant benefit for those long coding sessions. While the built-in speakers may not meet everyone's audio expectations, this can easily be remedied with external speakers or headphones. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this monitor to fellow software developers looking for an affordable and eye-friendly display option.

Very good quality
Working as a programmer, I constantly had headaches before due to the eye fatigue. Then this "eye-care" monitor caught my attention, I just wanted to try and see whether it works, if not I will return. It indeed helped my eye problem. I tried many monitors at work, cheap and expensive ones, to find one that will help my symptoms, I found a few, but the price is either very high or many of them require a better computing setup to utilize their full potentials. For example, the best one I used is Dell 4K ISP, but it cost over $500 (2018) and it's on sale. Other brands are good, but I slowly realize it's just a brand many of them use the same manufactory. So the price is basically depending on how popular the brand is. BenQ is not a very familiar brand in the US, but I used to have a BenQ laptop I really like, so I had a very positive feeling about this brand. At the moment of purchase, I had about 3 options: this monitor, a Dell one, and an Acer one. I had an Acer monitor before and it's bad, it looks really nice, but when you used it, you will know it's "cheap". Back in 2015 the Acer monitor costed about the same price as this one, not worth it. Dell one was more expensive, about $400 dollars and 4K, however, I know 4K monitor normally requires a better setup, I had a mac mini (last generation) at home, it doesn't support 4K, why bother to spend so much for that. This monitor is as it described on its amazon page. I just got it about a few days, and after a day of work, and then use this monitor at home, I didn't develop the headaches i used to have. Hope it's a durable one also.

Great monitor
This is a great monitor. Originally bought higher end 1440 monitor but my 5 yr old laptop was only capable of 1080 and refreshed at such a low rate that I was getting nauseous. Switched to this Benq monitor which is more suited to my computer, and it’s been great for the past wk - clear, no dead pixels, higher refresh rate. I use the low blue light mode in combination w auto brightness adjuster and have experienced noticeable improvement in eye fatigue after extended use. Monitor is also very responsive to computer waking up (prior monitor was not as responsive, and I had to fiddle w input selection button). Nice clean design too. Would highly recommend, esp at this price point.

Great monitor with good features, with a little tip for Mac users
I needed a new monitor, but nothing game-worthy, just something to use to read and write with without going blind. This monitor has lots of good eye-strain prevention qualities that are good for my 70-year-old eyes. It's also very well-built for an inexpensive 27" monitor. I connected it to my 2019 MacBook Pro with a Warrky USB-C to DisplayPort cable, and everything worked except the sound through the speakers on the monitor. I struggled with that for a while, and gave up, because I really didn't care that much about the sound, turned off my computer and monitor and went to bed. Today, when I turned on the computer and monitor, the sound worked. I guess the trick is to reboot if you don't get the sound to work at first. Knowing that would have saved me a lot of time. Anyway, I consider this a really great buy and just what I needed. Except for the initial sound issue, the process went very smoothly. Sleeping on it really helped!

I didn't know BenQ is a good monitor brand
Day 1. I will update the review as testing going. As you can see I installed these two guys on the dual monitor mount ( WALI Premium Dual LCD Monitor Desk Mount) and they sit pretty well. I am using them with MacBook Pro 2016 as extended monitors with two separate HDMI adapters for each monitor (each adapter is like $13). Otherwise, you CAN"T do extended dual screens on mac OS UNLESS you use pretty expensive hubs like " CalDigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt 3 Dock " ( I did pretty deep research on these things ). The brightness could be a little better but it's fine for this price. The sensor on the bottom of the screen is a cool feature, pretty much the same as on all smartphones but with the ability to turn off/on/adjust the sensitivity, my kudo for this feature goes to BenQ. The picture in general pretty decent but not the perfect, again price. I got them for work and because I always promise myself to read all those articles I've opened back in 2010. So now I can open all of them. So far the only problem I encounter is in my mount but not the screens. As you can notice in the last picture the gap between screens is hard to eliminate perfectly.

Good quality, I use for work, not gaming
Parts listed below for this whole setup. Nice monitors, I use them for work all day, and they're clear, my eyes aren't tired, and the size is nice. I had originally tried working on my 55" TV, but this setup is WAY better. To explain the picture: I wanted a stand so that my desk could sit flat against the wall to take up as little space in my bedroom as possible. My stand/sit desk is 2.5" away from the wall, and it goes up and down, without marking the wall. Monitors I bought (27") fit with the stand with about 3/4" to spare. I bought this in January, and am writing this review in May, so I've owned for 4 months with no issues. I didn't rate for gaming, because I use this for work, I'm not much of a gamer these days. If you like video games, don't get an office job, you won't want to be on a PC in the evening after working on one all day. lol I should probably mention also, these only came with HDMI cables, so in order for these to work with my MSI, I had to get a mini-display port adapter. That costed me $42 from local staples.

Top quality product!
Excellent combination of price and quality! I am not tempted to buy another identical one after I tried it for several months. Moreover, I use a VGA cable connected to an older desktop, and HDMI cables sticking out for family members to come and connect their laptops. Works seamlessly - monitor switches to the HDMI-connected laptop automatically, and switches back when the laptop is unplugged. Awesome! It has a very narrow bezel, all seem to be good, right? Wait until you place the USB webcam ontop. Webcam's base now covers the upper portion of the picture. Not an issue unless you have several web-pages open and you can't read one of the tabs. Who would know. Monitor includes three video ports - HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort. One thing I wish - I hope manufacturers retained the DVI port in these lower cost displays. Gives one more option for using older cables with older computers.
