Neat and effective especially for mixed/afro hair

My old Babyliss straighteners died last week after over 15 years of weekly use so these had a lot to live up to! Disappointing the cord is a lot shorter I don’t care if it’s in a salon or bedroom if the cord isn’t stretching from one side of room to another so I can grab another comb etc it’s too short. This pair the cord is at least 1m shorter. Huge difference. So bear that on mind if the good mirror is in bathroom but socket is in hallway. On the plus side the coating has changed tremendously so my hair doesn’t feel like it’s being tugged or pulled now and these are lighter. Faint new smell which will burn off and the automatic shut off is a god send for those who don’t use smart plugs for straighteners. Very quick to get my wavy hair straight and pleased with results. One other minor grip these only have 3 heat settings last ones had much more control on temp although let’s be honest never used it as hair was too thick. For some people who have coloured, damaged or fine hair those settings may not be adequate. Oh and I also kept my heat protective mat from last pair of straighteners this mat was much smaller and thinner. Overall for the price very happy and great replacement for my much loved and well used original ones which were just like the famous GHD ones. So these ones for the price I still wouldn’t buy GHD’s.

Good straighteners, they give a smooth finish, heat up really quickly. Only problem is the heat control setting is near where my thumb rests and sometimes I accidentally turn them off,

I bought it a week ago and am using it for the first time today. After unpacking and inspecting it, I've noticed that the workmanship isn't of the highest quality, and there are some design flaws. The cord is too short. When I run the straightener through my hair, I can feel it catching on my hair.

Il prodotto e' dotato di spina britannica, e quindi puo' essere utilizzato solo nel Regno Unito o in Irlanda. Certo, si puo' sempre cambiare la spina, ma quando compro qualcosa su Amazon mi aspetto che sia gia' adatta al nostro mercato. Sicuramente esistono modelli con spina a due poli per il resto d'Europa, ma questo non e' uno di quelli.

Pour les Français/ Européens, la prise du fer est anglaise (ce qui n'est pas marqué !). Bref, n'achetez pas sauf si vous êtes anglais.
