Nice small DP to VGA atapter
Works very well. The VGA connector is friction fit only. I don't have a problem with that.

Datacenter support hardware tends to lag behind Commercial trends. Use this to simply connect hosts with Displayport only video to your VGA/USB KVM or direct to monitor. Simple plug and play nothing to configure. Small form factor doesn't make the cable extend to far so the rack door can close.

Works BUT !!
This did the job however Its seems to loose connection or go to sleep. I have duel monitors with a extended desktop and this connection goes black and have to hit the mouse or keyboard to wake it back up but the HDMI connection stays on, granted it was a older monitor and I tried it with a new monitor with the same results. Digital to analog will always have some caveats but it does work. Perhaps I need to dig deeper into the power management aspect of the Display port connection but I believe I have pretty muck covered everything.
