Revelation: The Christian's Ultimate Victory (MacArthur Bible Studies)

This is one of the best most comprehensive guides to Revelation. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Everything in it is completely bible referenced and cross referenced. It was invaluable to my group study on the book of Revelation.

Great book helps to understand what the Bible says in Revelations.

Good breakdown of each verse with laymans wording to understand what is happening and applicable context to go with the verses.

The book is exactly the kind of study guide I wanted. However, this is not a new book. It has what looks like makeup on the pages and it's got some wear.

I bought this Study for me and my husband a while back, first study we've done together in 30 yrs of marriage. We've been working on it for weeks now as it isn't something you want to fly through. It is easy to read. We work on it about 2-3 times a week. When we do, we reread the verses from time before, to make sure we understood and to also refresh our memory....as we are in our 50's lol Dr MacArthur makes it clear, his points, and makes sense. His point of reference to other scriptures is clear. Honestly, I have done many women's Bible Studies written by women, but Dr MacArthur's is to the point, is clear and doesn't have us chasing rabbits. Best written I have done. During this time we felt it was good, not to just be familiar with Revelation but actually study it. I highly recommend. The questions aren't busy work. The questions are Helpful in understanding!!!!!!

John MacArthur is most assuredly with an anointing gift of God's wisdom with deciphering the Word, and the Book of Revelation. Which this Book is certainly not an easily understood read if were not from God's given will to receive its revelations. John MacArthur has placed an exhaustive amount of effort into presenting an incredible amount of his thorough research which he has been generously blessed to describe, with what seems to be clearly spiritually fed within him from the Holy Spirit. Helping his reader's to gain a fuller clarity of recognizing the unfolding of God's Sovereign plan from the beginning of Creation and throughout the existence of humanity, and humanity's purposeful plan designed by the Sovereign Creator. God's unfathomable reasons for every biblical characters experiences in their personal challenges, afflictions, oppression and suffering are made known that all has been meant for far greater purposes and within God's perfected timing. Through hope received in trusting God, and His Word, every suffering had purpose and later was revealed for His greater purposes of their afflictions. The sufficiency of God's grace in weaknesses, and by His strength they had overcome. And, we too shall overcome! The unveiling of God's Glory that is to yet come through these latter days has become an encouraging hope worthy to fight the good fight for. The Book of Revelation IS now fully recognized to be embraced in the understanding of our living hope! For what is to come, even in the midst of our trials, tribulations and suffering. John MacArthur shares what the Lord has made known FOR US to know. Which helps open the minds and hearts of those who love God and who believe. Trusting in the perfect work of Christ Jesus, on the cross, who IS the Son of God, and who we have asked and accepted to be our Savior. Salvation in Jesus Christ is coming soon, and is now unfolding before eyes in this day and age. The Day of the Lord's return is drawing near! ~ Come, Lord Jesus. Come! ✝️

It is a great book, easy to read and grasp. Well explained and taught. Faithful to Scripture. A book everyone must read and pass on. After all it is intended to be proclaimed as a warning so everyone knows that judgement and blessing are coming. Which one do you expect to get on the day of the Lord?

The author has simplified the book of Revelation to the extent that makes it interesting to study. I have enjoyed the book. Thank God.
