Putting live plants in a tank was the bane of my existence before these lead strips!! I established my latest tank without live plants before realizing that was a mistake (duh) especially with a betta. Realizing I needed plants was one thing but trying to plant them with full water in the tank was nearly impossible especially the rotala h’ra that has zero roots (which my betta is obsessed with btw if you’re looking for plants). I was getting SO frustrated & was near about to just give up but I did a search & I found these strips. Dude they’re amazing!! Now putting plants in an established tank is like putting in a weighted decoration, so easy!! They’re bendy too so you can do what you want with the rotala they’re in lil tufts & I could figure 8 one strip to secure two tufts together (see photo). But they’re also great for more than plants my tank has a lottt of enrichment decor but I wanted to add tiny pieces of driftwood to balance the tank. Well my small pieces I ordered ended up being complete floaters but using one of these on the end has allowed me to ground those in my tank as well :) overall super happy & have nothing negative to say!

What a great idea! Plants that were stubborn and would just float away are now neatly secured with the plant anchors. I can bundle plants together or use them individually. Absolutely perfect.

Love it to weigh down aquatic plants w/ rhizomes, such as java fern & anubias. Less intrusive-looking than the standard band weights, and work just as well. While it can be cut with kitchen shears/scissors, I recommend pliers since they can be used to bend or twist the length of coil into the desired shape. Would buy again from same seller.

I’ve never used other brands but this was the best value for these I’ve found at only $10 for 50. They made my first attempts at Aquascaping much easier, I learned my lesson and I will never setup a tank without doing a dry start first cuz plants sure love to float and not stay down lol. These were very helpful.

I like that I can cut off different amounts to match the plant that needs to be weighed down

Work great. Only wish they were a tad longer.

Easy to cut but half the plants I used it on rotted and died within a couple days. Maybe the lead in the product caused it who knows. Probably won’t use the rest of it.

Thicker then I thought would be. But pair with f pliers will help that. Very soft metal
