Performed exactly as expected, the lines are painted directly onto the output video and uses a digital compass to determine rotation so it's capable of giving more accurate idea of where the vehicle is backing up to. Overall accuracy seems to depend quite a bit upon its exact mounting location, the lens itself is not movable so the socket that it is stuck in for the brake light / reverse light is the only option you've got. There was not enough wire with it in order for me to reach the entire length of the vehicle after routing it all the way around everything to make it look like aesthetically pleasing install, but it doesn't require anything special in that department, no heavy gauge or anything exotic.
