This book and series is AMAZING!
100++++++ Stars across the board!I cannot sit here and say that I 'forgot' how great this series was or how I 'forgot' what a great author Danielle Bourdon is either. In fact, I cannot sit here and pretend to even say that I 'forgot' some of the storyline since the release of the 4th book in the series. Because, if I were to state all these things, I would simply be lying. This series is a series you'll never forget. The characters all become a part of you and leave you with swaddled in a cocoon of warm and fuzziness. Bloody brilliant, I tell you! This book in particular was just as great as the previous works by Danielle Bourdon. My only 'issue' (and that's a complete overstated use of a word, honestly) was that Mattias was away and no one could stop the crazy Paavo from being an evil bastard that he is! My heart broke for Chey and all of the dedication and devotion she showed to Sander during his time of need. After she was reunited with Sander, I wanted to beat Sander up (for the first time in allllllll the books combined; and I'm not talkin' sexually here either) because he wouldn't budge on his decision to address Paavo at once, as he demanded he do.I really, honestly, thought that Wynn would have ended up with Mattias but it seems that isn't the case (sorry for the spoiler you Mattias and Wynn lovers!). But in the end, it was perfect how everything played out.The way Danielle Bourdon displayed the amount of joy and affection that Sander provided over the birth of his son and his undying love for his wife, Chey, is breathtaking. It is simply beautiful. And yes, I would be a liar if I sat here and said that this series could end, right here and now with this 5th book and I would be 'okay' with it. In fact, I'm not. I love this series sooooo damn much that I'm hoping there is more to come on others involved within the storyline so the story will just continue to live on and on and on and on and on and on and on and.. you get the picture. ;)So what do you say Danielle Bourdon, will this lovely series that I adore so freakin' much continue on? Or, will you crush my book dreams and fantasies and end it with this being the last book of the series? My fingers are crossed (as well as my toes and I've even braided my stupid long hair in a criss-cross fashion!!) that you will continue on. I promise, I will TOOOOOTAAALLLY be your new BFF ;)

Adventure, Romance, Tragedy oh my... this series is awesome i couldn’t put it down
What an awesome series. And it’s just that a SERIES. You don’t watch your favorite T.V. show expecting to see the end the first time you watch it. This first book doesn’t end the way you want it to so if you’re not into buying books with in a series then don’t read this one because you will not be able to put it down. You will also be disappointed in how it ends. Now if you’re willing to stick it out in the long run you will be pleasantly surprised. It is an awesome series full of tragedy, compromise, adventure, anxiety, drama, obstacles and most of all romance. After reading the product reviews for this book I was skeptical. So after reading the first book it became like an addiction I just had to know what was going to happen next. As you go further through-out the series your get to know the characters more. There is not a lot of bad language in this series I think I may have found 2 words with in the 5 books I have read. There is also not a lot of the raunchy sex scenes in this book. Both things I found refreshing.Just a true romance story, personally I truly enjoyed each and every book. I got so swept up in the books I just couldn’t put it down and found myself reading in the wee hours of the morning. If you love books in a series you will not be disappointed.

Edge Of My Seat!!
Spoiler Alerts--Ahhh what an ending!! I was up till 1am because I could not put my Kindle down! Seriously nerve wrecking! The first chapter seemed so ominous and it just got worse and worse...Sander is attacked and left in a coma with Chey by his side. Unable to locate Mattias to take over the throne until Sander is well everyone's worst nightmare comes true Paavo is now king. Paavo being his sneaky self had everyone believing he had dropped his agenda to split the kingdom into equal parts, goes into attack mode blackmailing the councilmen into swinging in his favor which so sped up the process. Poor Chey Sat at her husband's side for over a week watching the kingdom crumble unable to do anything but sit and wait for Sander to wake up.Soo much happened in this final book, and it amazed me how well the storyline flowed. My first thought was the book was going to feel cluttered and rushed with all the extra added on, but no it was absolutely perfect. Everything flowed together and not once did I feel any part of the story was being rushed for the fan. I especially loved the ending and how it is left open with soo many possibilities of new stories to come: Mattias and his mystery time away with a love interest, Gunner and Krislin with the arrival of a new baby, Natalia and her mystery Prince and of course Wynn and Leander! So excited and cannot wait for what's to come!! Thanks for a great series Danielle!

Good read
Oh my word! The first part of the book! Almost had a heart attack when realizing what was happening. Reading the whole time, my heart was racing. Paavo is something else. Willing to do anything to get what he wants, which is to rule Latvala. We learn that Mattias is elsewhere and no one can reach him. But Sander knows. But we do meet Mattias' best friend Leander. Wynn has volunteered to work closely with Paavo so she can keep tabs for Chey, but he is doing the same. I'm so glad about the ending, several happy news and Latvala is slowly healing. Can't wait to read about Mattias' adventure and what the next chapter is for Sander and Chey.

Down with Paavo
Very good book. Kept me guessing what would happen next. The only thing I felt the ending was a little rushed. So many big life events happened so fast. Like Wynn getting engaged. Natalia becoming a better person. I feel like it should of been explained a little better or taken a little more time to get to the engagement etc. Maybe it's just me. But I still enjoyed this book.

Oooh, Danielle...you little tease!!!
I have read and enjoyed all the first 4 books in this series. The author has written about royal life and it's complexities, in a light hearted way, but still retained a modern view on the dynamic - in no way are you reading with rose tinted glasses on!I thought that book 4 was the final instalment and didn't think that any threads were left undone, so it was a complete surprise and total accident that I came across the latest instalment. And I'll be damned, she's only left it so there is going to be another book in the offing!!The story continues with Chey and Sander, but brings in other characters. What lacked in this book was the romance between Chey and Sander, which I honestly loved from book 1. This book is a bit too serious for me with dealing with a political coup and I find Chey's friend - Wynne - far too whimsical for me. Whereas we know so much more about Chey and are invested in her, having her seen her go through the intensity of adapting to royal life. The reason I know that there are now threads undone, is that Mattias doesn't feature AT ALL in this book. It's really weird and odd and not to character, so clearly there has to be a follow up to explain where he was at whilst his brothers fought between themselves for the kingdom.Still a light-hearted read and at 200+ pages, it is worthwhile, but now it's stretching it out and at £2.50+ per copy, it's starting to become an expensive "habit".

Enjoyable Series
I really enjoyed this series particularly at the beginning, however I drop one star because to be honest I think it could have done without Book 5, I found this one heavy going, unnecessary, boring in parts, and a bit unconvincing to be honest. I think a fuller ending to Book 4 with (spoiler) taking it up to Chey having the baby then, would have been better than carrying it on with the events that happen in Book 5.

Finally the end or is it??
Book five, brings a whole new set of challenges for the King and Queen. Can they overcome the threat to their lives and the countries history.I do hope this is the end, although I get the feeling it isn't.I know it probably sounds like I'm complaining and think the books are boring. There not, it's just that the whole story was so long winded.

Fantastic.
Found this book by chance, having read the previous books In the series. (Thought they had finished) The story continued at a fast pace. Didn't want to put it down. The characters are all brilliant and so is the story. Can't wait to read the Elite series looking at Leander and Mathias as now I am interiged!! Thank you Danielle Bourdon for this fantastic series.

Fantastic ending to a great series
What an amazing way to end the Royals series, once again like the rest it was a page turner. I didn't want it to end I would say this one had the most dramatic twists and turns than the others but didn't disappoint. It was really nice seeing the main characters and others find their happy endings.
