Not walnut
This is not walnut edgebanding. It’s “walnut colored” glue-up, shaved to veneer. If you’re matching to a veneer top, I’d go with actual veneer. Returning

Fantastic
This was my first go at veneer edge banding to conceal a plywood bench project. I found it very easy to use this 7/8 inch product on 3/4 inch plywood, including the iron on application and follow up trimming with a sharp razor blade. I bought one of the cutting units for the end of each edge, which cut it nice and squarely.

Good product, it didn’t work for me
I bought the wrong product… if it had been darker it would have been perfect.

The perfect solution
I purchased used office furniture in great condition but one edge was unfinished. This product was very easy to use, was flexible yet sturdy and while the roll was far more than I needed, it solved a big problem easily and looks great. No on can tell it covers a raw edge.
