This pomade is fantastic! I love the smell of it and it works super well on my hair! I will say that while it is pretty easy to wash out of your hair, I personally feel like it's a little harder to wash out of your hands. Definitely not a deal breaker though. It will last for days in your hair, I've only let it sit in my hair for about 2 days being the longest time but I've never had any issues with it feeling like it doesn't hold well anymore. It is very easy to apply into your hair as well, as is any pomade in my opinion. I highly recommend getting this pomade if you want your hair to look and smell great!

Smells amazing. Perfect light hold without shine. Love to support a veteran owned, small biz with a short, organic list of ingredients. Will definitely be buying more after a coworker suggested to me when I asked what that great smell was! Definitely recommend. The original scent works great for women’s hair too to add texture and piecey-ness to curls. Not greasy feeling at all for dry hair. My husband irritated, flaky scalp has improved a lot! Bought the water based as well and it also works great, but gives shine and a stronger hold.

Arrived quick. Smell is awesome, the scent strength (silage) is above average, I enjoyed the great smell all day along, it's beautiful. Shine is below my expectation, not that shiny. Similarly, hold is medium, it's not bad but not the best. Serving size is also below my expectations. There are pomades that a little of it goes a long way. No this one, I use a little over dime-size and it seems not enough - I'm male with an average hair length. Overall, it's a good product given the fact that all ingredients are natural not damaging hair, and best of all the scent is great and powerful. I would buy again.

Just what I was looking for. My hair is kind of wavy, so I typically need something with a decent hold. Their oil based pomade (omega) is my go to, and happens to hold my hair how I like it most of the time. But come summer, the heat really weakens the hold, and I had little curls hanging everywhere. Some guys can pull that semi-disheveled look off, I prefer the neat professional look. I’d opt for the clay when the weather got hot, but it was on the pricy side and I couldn’t justify the price. That’s where the water based pomade came in. Great strong hold, without damaging my hair, making it dry, or leaving residue. Best part, it holds all day no issue. It says it’s a high shine product, but I’d argue it’s a moderate shine without looking greasy, just the way I like it. Somewhere in between the clay and oil. Keep in mind that the product does build up a little over time, so you’ll need to wash your hair thoroughly. Not an issue since it means you’ll need less product overall, and it’s water based so washing it out isn’t too bad. Hope Nick and Johnny don’t change this formula too much, they hit a home run with it.

So I've used a lot of different pomades. Layrite, suavacito, crew, ruzel, barber shops brands, brands from other countries. All I have to say this water based pomade is horrible. Zero hold, leaves your hair heavy and took me 2 generous squeezes of shampoo to wash it out. I didn't even make it through the whole tub because I was using 5x the shampoo to get it out. I will say it smells good but everything else about it isn't to my liking.

This would be five stars if I wanted an oil based product. It would be one star, but for the quality ingredients, and US based, vet owned aspects. At the end of the day, it is NOT water based. The ingredient listing is virtually 100% oils/lipids and not water soluble. Hold is great, ingredients are great, but I have to shampoo numerous times to remove it, and it simply will not wash off my hands and comb. I'll gladly try a truly water based product by Johnny Slicks if they ever develop one.

I have been trying to find a good hair product to hold it without looking like cement. The search went on for years until I found this. I didn't find a good hair product I found the best. Only a small amount holds my hair in it's natural curls but allows it to move naturally. It doesn't strip my head of oils and easily cleans out. Even if under the sun all day just add a little water and comb my fingers through and it's refreshed. Love this stuff.

I love this product, it smells so good and it does not feel greasy. Gives you that perfect and not only that as an U.S Army Combat Veteran it is a plus to be able to support Veteran owned businesses. This will be my new and only hair product moving forward.
