Some of the stock has been updated, some have not. I have the exact same CPU and I had to update the BIOS. However, because this board has a BIOS flash button at the back, It is very easy to update. You don't need an old CPU or RAM installed, all you need is PSU power and a USB flash drive. Follow the instructions from MSI.
