Really great, just need to understand how to use it
This is a really great coffee maker, I just add coffee and water and then set it to forget it. The next morning I have coffee. I chose this because of the simplicity. I am not a coffee drinker, I drink coffee for the energy not for the enjoyment.I see that some people say that the coffee is weak tasting despite adding a ton of grounds and waiting for more than the recommended time. This may happen when not all the coffee grounds are saturated, I use a chopstick to stir the grounds around to make sure that every ground is touched by the water. If you just add the water in quickly, some grounds in the center or bottom will become packed and never touch water at all. Some people are getting a sludge at the bottom of their coffee. The recommendation is to use coarse ground. At that point if you're still getting sludge I recommend to add the grounds to the mesh strainer and then shake it over the sink. That way you are forcing the grounds that are fine enough to pass through the strainer to pass through before you even start the brewing process.I can't speak for the taste, whether it's weak, strong, acidic or bitter, i have no idea. I think that all coffee tastes bad, I add a ton of milk to the point where I don't notice the coffee.I don't know why people are saying that it's easy to clean. Because I spend a quite a few minutes running water on the outside of the strainer to get the remaining coffee grounds out. That might be due to me using pre ground coffee and they're smaller, so easier to get stuck inside the strainer? But honestly that's not even a deal breaker. The design is so sleek and simple and I hate burning hot coffee that I just can't imagine having any other coffee maker.I just tried it with actual beans that I ground myself instead of the dunkin donuts preground coffee. The taste is immaculate. Well not really, I still don't enjoy coffee all that much. But the less acidic taste is definitely apparent, went down smoothly. Definitely buy your own beans to grind or at least buy some higher quality preground coffee, not dunkin donuts.

Easy to use, fresh brew, all good
I don't do a lot of product reviews, but this coffee maker is excellent, I tired a few solution and this seems to be the best for my needs, 24oz of fresh, hot coffee, with an easy to pour kraft... highly recommend this...

My coffee tastes better!
My previous plug-in drip brew coffee maker broke, so I needed a replacement. I've been looking to purchase a pour-over coffee carafe for a while now, but couldn't justify purchasing one until my old coffee maker broke. My previous plug-in drip brew coffee maker broke, so I needed a replacement. I've been looking to purchase a pour-over coffee carafe for a while now, but couldn't justify purchasing one until my old coffee maker broke.I was also looking avoid having to purchase coffee filters all of the time, and wanted better tasting coffee, that didn't require electricity to brew - all while looking beautiful on my counter space. After searching on Amazon, Bean Envy's pour-over coffee maker fit the bill. The most important prerequisite for me was to purchase one with a durable reusable filter that worked properly — meaning, I wouldn't get coffee grounds migrating into my cup of coffee, and that didn't look or feel flimsy. I read so many reviews related to other similar coffee makers where these were issues.Bean Envy's pour-over coffee maker really works the way its supposed to. Not only do the coffee grounds remain in the filter, this unit works perfectly. The reasons I love Bean Envy's pour-over coffee maker are:⁃ The silicone pad on the bottom of the carafe.⁃ A durable coffee filter that keeps grounds in the filter.⁃ An actual handle on the carafe.⁃ Both carafe and filter are easy to clean and maintain. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned about how slowly the brewed coffee came through the filter, however, I have never had that problem at all. I can't understand why some stated as such because Bean Envy's filter works just fine. The one thing I truly recommend to those who get coffee maker is that they thoroughly read through the entire instructional booklet that comes with the coffeemaker. It explains what you need to know to brew a great cup of coffee, in addition to cleaning and maintaining the coffee maker.I love this thing! I look forward to making my coffee each morning. I've been enjoying the best coffee I've ever brewed, and cleanup is quick. This is absolutely one of the best purchases I've made in quite a long time! I truly recommend this coffee maker!

Great but with a niggling fault
A functional product that is easy to use and clean. Makes good coffee and comes up sparkling in the dishwasher. One small point is that the little silicon tab on the filter comes off easily and could get lost. Indeed, this happened to the friend who recommended the product. I have to be very careful with mine. This is why I cannot give the product the five star rating which it would otherwise deserve.
