Tiki Cat Gourmet Whole Food 8-Pack Koolina Luau Succulent Chicken With Egg In Consomme Pet Food

I've tried different foods. I adopted 2 bobtail kittens and I have one Turkish Angora. I used to feed my cats dry food and ended up losing a cat that was very dear to our family. I tried a couple of others and then I tried Tiki Cat. The cats went nuts over this food. Yes, it's probably not hard to make, but it does contain other nutrients. It looks like simply shredded white meat chicken, egg and chicken consomme. The litter box odor has definitely reduced and I think I have found the food for our cats! It can be a little pricey, but well worth it for healthy cats and longer lives!

If you read the ingredients list, it's all high quality ingredients. I've tried to mimic this chicken recipe at home, but haven't fully convinced our cat. When I feed him this Tiki chicken cat food he inhales it. He's been on the same food for 2 weeks and he still enjoys it as much as the first day. Great stuff.

My Vet recommended a higher protein diet for one of my cats due to is slug metabolism. He was being fed a caloric diet for a cat 5 lbs lighter than he was and only lost about 1 lb in 12 months. After spending an afternoon researching holistic wet catfood that was high in protein, I came across Tiki. The Koolina Luau flavor of their many flavors has the highest protein percentage at some like 88%. I was pleased with the very short and simple ingredient list.Upon opening the can, you see shredded chicken with little square egg chunks. It looks like something you may eat if you were camping. Certainly more appealing looking than canned salmon and tuna and has almost no scent.It is fairly expensive per volume compared to other wet foods, even holistic brands. But I blend it with Wellness canned food, which keeps the price more affordable and my little monsters are still getting a high protein diet. It has also helped with weight loss, which was the whole point.Amazon used to sell it by the case with Prime shipping, but since I started buying this in May, they no longer do and I have since found another source with free shipping for the several cases I require a month.

My one cat has a very sensitive stomach and eats too fast. This food is great to slow her down a bit and then she doesn't get sick. I do have to warm all her food first and with this one I have to cut it up as well, but then she loves it. I gave it 4 stars because I would love it if it weren't so tough and stringy, but I will still buy it for her because the pros far outweigh the cons.

Besides the fact that our cats LOVE this stuff, I swear it looks good enough to eat - just add a little celery and some mayo... :-) It is real white meat chicken in juice with little pieces of egg - okay, so the egg look like it is made from the yellow liquid stuff out of a carton, but overall, it still looks pretty good. No complaints from the cats.

We've been feeding this now for a few months, and our three cats just love it. I appreciate the mild smell and that it's clearly chicken..not a mush of mystery bits! I find the cost is very comparable to the food I've purchased and it's much better quality. Highly recommend.

Both cats like this, but can't finish in one sitting. This one lasts a long time when sitting out and so the Cats eventually finish it throughout the day:) Other Cat food gets stale quickly after sitting out & you need to throw it out b/c the cats won't touch it at that point;-)lol

My cats LOVE this wet cat food, even the picky one that refuses to eat any wet food except Tuna. She only has 3 teeth, so I have been trying to transition her to wet food since she just swallows the dry food whole.
