I loved this book. For me, it was by far the best way to discover the impact Socrates had and how it is still relevant to us today(maybe more so). Thank you to the author. Enjoyed so much have now purchased his other titles.

Gives a clear picture of Socrates, the man as well as Socrates the philosopher.

The knowledgeable reader only needs to get through two or three pages of the introduction to this farrago of nonsense to realise how bad it is. The writer patently hasn't the slightest idea of Socrates' teaching and is presenting a supposedly "secret teaching" that Plato 'distorted'. Save your money!

What a great guy Socrates the ugly must have been.Being physically ugly gave him a profound insight into human natureas his society like ours valued beauty above decency.Know yourself......... was his moto.We have to look at our own actions and not be judging others only.Wisdom comes from keeping an eye on our own behaviour, trying to improve as much as possible.
