Rice-A-Roni is a warm and enjoyable blast from the past... Sometimes I just crave it. Easy to prepare. It goes good with anything.

Rice-a-roni always serves up a flavorful rice. I eat this rice as is because it tastes great or I add beans or meat. Excellent value, full boxes, consistent flavor and size of rice. Quick and easy to prepare.

Love doctoring these up to make a simple meal. Saute a sliced onion, chopped celery with rice. Add a cup of frozen peas or can of tomatoes. Yum.

I hope it isn't too personal, and I hope I don't get too much kickback, but I've been facing hard times raising a family with as expensive as things are right now, and I don't want to trade my health on cheap food that is bad for me. I make one of these up in the morning when I make my coffee and a couple of eggs for breakfast. I'll throw in a can of chicken or roast beef and it stays warm in the Tupperware. It's forgiving about not being refrigerated until lunchtime at work too. If I eat like this at least 3 days a week, everyone in the house gets what they need, when they need it. Coupled with green tea or water, it's a satisfying meal with good flavor.
