I was a little worried when the sword arrived because the box was open and the sword had been removed from the box at some time. The sword was out of the box about three to 4 inches and when I tried to push it into the box to carry it inside it was hitting something and would not go in. I took it into the house and took it out of the box. It was not wrapped in the cloth cover that I had seen on videos of people whom had also bought it. It was covered by an open plastic bag. When I took the wrap off and inspected the sword I was slightly surprised by the weight. It is not a light weight cheap sword. It is a nicely balanced substantial sword. Great quality and absolutely beautiful! The blade comes with a greased coating and when I wiped it off the blade was gorgeous! I was not expecting the quality of sword that I got! Going by the price I was expecting either the blade to be really light weight or cheap feeling. It was not. The colors are also beautiful! The design was really great! I would definitely recommend this sword!

Bought this for a friend and tried it out a little for myself. Quality is good for the price although my friend chipped the edge of the blade but that was expected especially since he was slicing milk jugs filled with dirt and gravel. The katana fits nicely in the saya and came sharp and well oiled. The pattern on the saya and blade is also a nice touch and the weight is well balanced.

The sword is awesome

First, this katana is beautiful, especially when displayed. It's the expected size and sits we'll in a standard sword rack. Everything fits well, and there are no aces where it's loose or rattles. The blade is also very sharp, and the bluing gives a nice effect. That being said, there are a few flaws. The subo is a little sloppy on closer inspection, and you can very clearly see the flashing line from the mold. Up close, the silvery wrap just looks like cheap ribbon from a craft store. Some of the cuts for the assembled pieces are not clean, but they do all fit together like the should. From a performance standpoint, the blade is very forward heavy. The balance point sits more than 6 inches above the subo. It's a decent weight, but swinging it will feel a little awkward due to the balance. The decoration on the blade will likely wear off pretty quickly if you try to put the sword to real use, but that's not really the intention for a piece like this. Even so, you could still do significant damage with this sword if you wanted to. There is also something that feels like a slight roll on most of the edge. It could be from the coloring, but it's worth noting. FINAL WORD: Even with a few flaws, this is a great katana, especially for the price.

i have zero experience with swords but my 23 year old son is a demon slayer and anime fan innovation sisterly likes this swords so that's ll that's matter it does have good weight i would recommend

If I had enough money, I would buy them all up. Looks like a high dollar sword performs almost as well, of course not against other metal blades would not be suggested.

I've always wanted one but I've always been pushing it back and I finally did it and I'm so happy I did it is a beautiful sword very well made just remember you have to buy sword cleaner to prevent not to rust
