Like all hydrocolloid patches, these work best to extract fluid from pimples that are "open", and of course the skin should be clean and dry. They stick well. I have not lost one, even on oily skin when I am lazy-tired and slap one on before bed. They turn milky white as they absorb fluids so you can see if they are doing anything. The price is great. Being a very masculine man, I do not wear makeup over them. They might be a bit thick for that, so I would not consider them something that can easily be made invisible - people that wear makeup will have to chime in on that subject.
