I have use lots of other crate types for transportation and they just didn't seem comfortable, spacious, or easy to clean.This is not like the others. It's not made of the hard plastic that is heavy to carry and uncomfortable for your pets. It is very similar to a duffel bag however it is stronger and more durable.I've inserted a picture so that you can see it stands up and doesn't flop over. I've used this with my cats and my Chihuahuas. They don't associate this type of carrier with other types of crates. They seem comfortable and happy.The carrier is easy to throw into the washing machine or to wipe out by hand.My teacup Chihuahua likes to use this is her private bed. ( If we leave it out )The venting creates a good airflow for your animals. I was able to put a bit of food and water, toys and a little blanket without everything spilling. That has been a problem with other crates that are of this material. This one is by far so much more durable and I did not have the spillingissue. It also somewhat molds to the seat so it doesn't cause motion sickness to my animals.I'm very happy with this carrier and definitely would suggest it for people with cats or small dogs.For reference I use this with my cat that weighs 12 pounds and my dogs that way between two and 14 pounds.Great product and I will get tons of use because I use this primarily to take them back-and-forth to the vet or on trips. I like that it can be used as a carrier and they can use it as a bed when they are away from home. ### ⭐ Busted while on flight *by V***Z on October 9, 2017* I added a picture for refrence if anybody still decides to purchase this after reading my review. My pug is 6months old and about 14in tall 17 inches long, he fit snuggly. I will be returning this carrier because while flying with UNITED express the top zipper busted. The zipper came undone once again at the end of our trip while waiting for the flight. My dog didn’t use force to get out, it was just a cheap zipper. Another thing to note is that the two white rods up on the top of the carrier kept poking out of the sides and bothering my dog.
