The media could not be loaded.  It works great, but you need to play with it to put properly. Instruction manual won’t help at all!

These were purchased for a foot locker. They get the job done but not adjustable. If the lid is too light they will spring up almost too effortlessly. Same for the close, too heavy and it’s coming down. Directions are not very helpful as there is no translation, there’s a template to follow but without instructions I can’t say for sure I had it right or just got lucky. Did have to play with its placement somewhat.

First of all, the instructions are terrible. Secondly, and most important-do not buy if you want a slow close hinge. These are dangerous and slam down quite quickly. We tightened every way we could-wish we had watched the videos by reviewers stating the same thing prior to buying.

True that the instructions were only in Chinese and in cms and mms but the diagrams were still quite clear, and the measurements were helpful. My problem was that the lid I attached it to - although long and heavy, I thought - was actually too light for these heavy duties, and after getting everything screwed in, the lid popped up like a Jack In The Box, stayed up and then refused to stay down. Imagine my delight. The exact opposite of what I bought them for. Too late to return. Sigh.

The media could not be loaded.  As you can see from the other reviews, the instructions come in Chinese, and Chinese only. BUT, there is a diagram that you tape right to your project to line up the hardware. So still very simple to install, and they work like a dream!!

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to install, instructions in Chinese but measurements are easily read. Soft closes, but needed 3 units for 35lb banquette top. Top opens way too fast, going to need stoppers or engineer something to slow it down. Sturdy build, no issues with performance.

Need support for oversized, heavy antique trunk lid. ( over 40 lbs.)Followed instructions to the letter, and a perfect fit. No possible chance for a slamming lid to cause injury.Used rare earth magnets to keep lid closed.

Don’t waste your time

I couldn’t figure out how to keep the lid closed, they should have a dead spot, but it pushes like Hercules the whole time
