Amazing read!
I found this book on Amazon and loved the way the author combines the historical life of Clare in a novel-like story. As a Secular Franciscan, whose fraternity studies the lives of Francis and Clare, this book is accessible for all our members in both content and font size. We enjoyed it very much. Give it a try: the chapters are short and capture a reader's interest.

I really felt like I was there and that I was a Poor ...
This book made me laugh and cry. Truly a story. I really felt like I was there and that I was a Poor Lady. As someone discerning I will keep this book and recommend it for anyone discerning sisterhood. Read and do not be afraid!

A look at a Saint
This book gives a close look at what true sanctity was in those days. Inspiring and humbling. Is this still the norm today?

Best read of the last few Years!
I bought this book awhile back and it's been the best book I've read in a long time. Madeline knows how to write an interesting story and give you the true facts along the way. (See her notes in the back of the book). She tells you what is true and what is made up to keep the story interesting. Result, you don't want to put the book down.Clair became one of my favorite saints after reading this book because of the effort Madeline puts into it. She describes Clair so that you can not help loving her. The information she provides helps you to know Clair in an intimate way and in a way you are living her life along side of her. You feel what Clair feels, sense her holiness and see God in others the way Clair did. You no longer have to guess what Convent life was like back then, for Madeline lays it out before you. I felt like I was reading a famous biography, a great novel and a wonderful love story all in one.You go away feeling like you know St. Clair better than you ever thought you could and in your heart feel as you never thought you would. Buying this book will be the best thing you ever did to enrich your life. Good Reading!

Thank you for allowing me to provide this updated information.

Who are you load? and who am I? この祈りは英文でも味わえますが、原文ではもっと深く味わえると考えています。
