I lost the ability to boot my laptop and added a blank sd card and plugged this into my samsung tablet to get an iso image on it (using additional software on the tablet). Worked a treat as they can be used to grab data off phones with usb c ports. 5/5

Very useful little device for transferring files between tablets and laptops. Worth noting that it worked fine on my old Huawei tablet and new Asus laptop, but not on my brand new Galaxy Tab. That wouldn't read the files. Could be a tablet-related issue though. Other than that glitch, it worked well. Keychain is nice touch if you want keep it with you.

The first 6 I purchased worked well but out of the last 6 I bought 3 failed and fell apart. The adapters are great although very hot during use, when they work, but the latest ones have a 50% failure rate. I always buy 2 at a time and keep spares due to the high failure rate. Luckily so far the Microsd’s continue to work and have not been corrupted. I am now having to look at alternatives. Please check your QC.

I speed read the reviews on this one and hindsight has given me 20/20 vision to show why you shouldn't do that! I brought this because I thought my old one was broken, now I'm glad its not it was a dodgy SD Card. I'm not normally one to put down someone else's product because after all they are just trying to make a living, but this time I just can't stay quiet and let others buy something so unfot for purpose. This Micro SD card reader is bad on many different levels, but firstly it has to be the fact that it is near impossible to get a Micro SD Card in the reader at all. I dont know if the slot is misaligned with the circuit board or something is the wrong size or maybe the card carriage inside is just bent. The next challenge is plugging it into the computer or adapter or phone whichever you are using. Around 60% of the time its not recognised by the machine or if the machine recognises you have put a card adapter into it, it doesn't recognise it as a card reader, its just says unrecognised device. If by some miracle you can get the card into the reader, then you have about a 40% chance of it actually reading the card. All in all, I would suggest you avoid this Micro SD Card reader and spend a little extra to buy one that has a better chance of working correctly.

De usb c is zo slecht afgewerkt dat je met veel te veel kracht moet drukken. Deze stop ik niet meer in mij. S24 ultra. Omdat het dan je poort op je telefoon stuk maakt. Als dat al niet is vervormd.

Ottimo adattatore! Lo uso con il mio smartphone USB-C e funziona perfettamente: la micro SD viene riconosciuta subito, senza dover fare nulla. È semplice, veloce e comodo. In più, nella confezione c’è anche un adattatore da USB-C a USB standard, quindi si può usare non solo con il telefono ma anche collegarlo direttamente al computer per trasferire file. Un dettaglio molto utile è la catenina: si può agganciarlo alle chiavi o allo zaino così non si perde in giro, visto che è piccolo e leggero.

No problem with populating drive. Also no issue with burning SD-cards with images, so quite good quality methinks.

Works perfectly as intended. This simple Micro SD to USB C reader allows me to quickly transfer photos from my camera to my phone when I'm on the go. It's such a simple and obvious solution that I can't believe I didn't think of it myself. I had to hear about it from a coworker, at which point I thought "how genius!". It's tiny, easy to attach to anything like the side of the camera or your keychain. Well worth the few bucks.
