A well made BG meter that is easy to setup and use… for a very reasonable price. It comes with all the necessary supplies in sealed bags. The battery is easily installed and once a lancet is installed in the lancet device, pull the plunger and take the sample. The meter displays the results in less than 5 seconds. I track my BG on another app but plan to try the Bluetooth app soon.

The device arrived packaged well and exactly as shown in the photos. The manuals and log book included are informative and very useful. The carrying case keeps everything in it's place and perfect for travel. I used my device straight out of the box after I downloaded the app. It works perfectly for me. This device is beginner friendly and very easy on the budget!

Works great for the price

We got this after our cat developed diabetes, and it worked well. I can't comment on the accuracy because we didn't have anything to compare the numbers. The hardest part of using it was getting blood from our cat. It was often hard to get a whole drop of blood, and more often than not we had a tiny dot instead. As long as we got a whole drop of blood - not a lot - just one actual drop, it read the glucose perfectly. The strips sucked up the blood that was available, and the lancet worked fine. We kept it dialed to 5 for our cat as that seemed to be the depth we needed. However, when you have a cat who doesn't want to get tested and the lancet requires a couple of attempts to re-engage the needle, it is frustrating! If I have any complaint, that is it. Sometimes, it would take a couple of tries to get the button to pop back up so we could try for another sample. We also ended up needing a smaller needle to help facilitate getting a sample, but again, this was for a cat so I doubt a person would have the difficulties we had. All-in-all, it's a complete kit, easy to use, easy to store, everything is right there in one spot, and it worked reliably for us. So my recommendation is to buy it. If we were happy with it while trying to get a sample from a cat, I'm guessing you'd be happy using it too.

At first, it took me some time to like it since I was newly diagnosed as a diabetic. However, I like that it was a complete set and connects to my phone. Instructions were clear. The best part was that the supplies were easy to order and subscribe to. In addition, there were glitches to the first time using it. I like the report form since it was convenient to give to the physician. But it was off for like 5 hours that I had to fix all the time. Contacted customer service and they replied as per 2 to 3 business days. At first they were going to replace the glucometer. In the end, they told me to keep it since the glitch was on their end. So convenient and easy to use that every time I visit. My physician was like “this is awesome” that I give her the month report. Will continue using this product. Love it! Subscriptions is convenient since it is complete with needles for the pen and glucometer strips. All you have to supply is.the alcohol wipes or wash hands prior to getting the blood sugar. Never used the meal or medication report since I was able to go from diabetic to pre diabetic with monitoring and dieting.

I thought this was going to make my life a little easier but NO! First the readings are not accurate and much higher than my other meter, which my doctor has compared to theirs. So when I was in reactive hypoglycemia it was saying my blood sugar was over 100 very dangerous. Was going by it until my service dog alerted me to low blood sugar, I checked with my old meter an it was 29 in two different fingers checked with this one and it said 85!!!! Difference between life and death. I became unconscious my husband said and was barely breathing by the time firefighters arrived and paramedic supervisor they had to place an IV and give a bag of glucose then was put in ambulance and taken to ER I can see why this is so cheap it doesn’t work correctly!! Also the app to. Your phone to go with it has Bluetooth from meter to phone yet you have to connect every single to enter new test result, found this just to be extra work and went back to my old one and prick myself 4 times a day and log it in my blood sugar log book. Don’t by this if you have issues with blood sugars!!! Mines being returned as of this review! I would have died if it hadn’t been for my service dog, not worth the risk of owning it ! Very poor product
