Magic by way of the GAS STOVE
It distributes heat extremely even across the pan. It works especially well when cooking on a gas stove. The magic of this pan comes out on the gas stove!!

I love this pan! I was a little concerned about the dimpled base but this works fine (heats, not too sticky, cleans) and causes no problems. I’ve cooked pasta sauces, curries, omelettes, chicken fajitas and meat with no issues. It’s a great looking pan so works well when serving directly from it at the table. Very happy. Looking forward to using for roast chicken, etc, in the oven. It’s not as large (tall) as I thought it would be so did consider swapping for the higher one but this has not proved to be a big concern. Construction is solid and this feels that it will last a lifetime - which is one of the reasons I bought Fissler. Works well on induction. The lid is thin which is my only minor criticism - not sure that will impact anything.

Ich hatte zuerst die 28-cm-Pfanne gekauft und war so begeistert, dass ich mir zusätzlich auch die kleinere 24-cm-Version bestellt habe. Diese Servierpfannen von Fissler bieten durch ihre besondere Form und den Hochraum-Deckel ganz neue Möglichkeiten beim Kochen. Die Novogrill-Bratfläche ist ideal zum schonenden und gleichmäßigen Anbraten. Wenn der Deckel aufgesetzt ist, bleibt die Wärme optimal in der Pfanne, und es entweicht nur sehr wenig Dampf. So kann man Speisen bei niedriger Temperatur entspannt schmoren lassen, ohne dass etwas anbrennt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

This is a great stainless steel pan. Works perfectly with induction appliances. I expect it to last many many years as the other profi line items I have.
