Alola Region Handbook (Pokémon)

I love this book so much! I’ve been into the alola games lately including the anime. I’ve also been journaling a lot of alola Pokémon and things about it so this handbook was perfect. It’s nice to draw Pokémon, write reports on them, or even to know more facts then rotom dex.Although I love this one I did also buy the one that has other regions in it because this one does just have Pokémon in sun and moon (games, show) FYI, it’s thin because of that reasonSo I think both are necessary! I bought both because another review so I would recommend !!!Okay Amazon is asking me to rate the age level, I’m putting moderate because I don’t think someone who is just learning to read could read it like a 7 year old or something but maybe like I want to say an 8 or 9+ year old. Because there’s a lot to read and new words.

My 12 year old loves Pokémon and asked for this book. He's very happy with it, so I guess it has all the information he was hoping to find. It's a good gift for Pokémon fans.

Son needed this one for his collection and he uses it regularly... educating the entire family on the Pokémon within lol Great fun!

Got this for my Pokémon loving 7yo to supplement The Pokémon delux essential handbook. Note that not all Pokémon in this book are new (some Pokémon in the other book are in here too, I guess because they live in the Alolan region also). Basic info and nice illustrations; Pokemon are listed in alphabetical order. Better to look at online databases for technical info for game play. Would recommend if you liked The Pokémon delux essential handbook.

Id give this product a 4.5-4.8 if I could. It was very nice but it was thinner than I thought. It did have all the pokémon though. I've compared this newest book to the previous one.The alola one does not mention any mega evolutions. As we have recently discovered certain pokemon can mega evolve such as garchomp. In the alola book it doesn't mention mega evolutions at all.It also does not mention any of the original variations of a pokémon that has an alola variation. As in, it only mentions the alola sandslash which is an ice and steel type while many of us know most sandslash is a ground type. The alola book does introduce the new pokemon and ultra beasts.Overall it's nice but lacking. I hope they somehow make the alola handbook more like the previous handbook somehow. That would be the best of both worlds. I obviously have both books and find both helpful. I'd recommend getting both books.

My kiddo is obsessed with all things Pokemon. He loves to look up the characters and learn everything he can. His copy of this handbook is dogeared from use. An essential guide for any Pokemon lover.

My 10 year old granddaughter has become a Pokémon fan...she searched for this book in particular and found it on Amazon. She has been very happy with our purchase and is already looking for more books to add to her Pokémon library. Thank you Amazon for making this available to your shoppers!

Lovely quality and full of amazing diagrams of all Alolan Pokémon! No complaints from me at all! Definitely recommend!
