However I'm 5'2" and 126lbs and this fits too small for me. Yes it goes on my shoulders, however because its small you can't move your arms without it unbuckling or rising up to your neck area. You feel restrained to move in it, without distorting the look of it over your shoulders. You want a larger size that fits a bit off the shoulders, so that you can easily move your arms up towards your face (to answer a phone call or have a purse on your shoulders) without it opening or popping off your shoulder.
