Use in pasta sauce to add depth and flavor without much salt, great for low sodium and IBS
I make my tomato based pasta sauce from canned Italian tomatoes, low sodium V8 juice (one can V8 to one large can tomatoes). I usually add a small amount of crushed red pepper, about 2 T of Italian herb mix plus a T of savory. I think the result is better than any canned or restaurant sauce. My Mom is on a low salt, no garlic or onion diet. Makes it hard to make dishes for her that have lots of flavor. The V8 juice adds flavor without stressing her digestive system!

V-8 ~Lower sodium DELICIOUS
This is so good! It has the same flavor as regular V~8 juice, but lower sodium and 60 calories. OMG this is delicious. I love it . You get your veggies and great flavor. It is the perfect flavored V~8 tomato juice with the veggies to boot ! It is the perfect drink and refreshing!!!!!!

plenty salty tasting but low sodium. High potassium (which gives this the salty taste)
Low sodium. I dont exactly watch my sodium intake, but I much prefer this low sodium version compared to the original. That was way too high in sodium for a drink and it tasted way too salty too. This low sodium (95 mg) is so much better tasting to me. It has enough of a salty taste from potassium chloride (basically a salt alternative). Slightly more watery but still has a robust flavor. I find it very pleasant. But if you were looking for less salty taste.. this is still quite salty tasting just not as much as the original.I love that this tiny little can has 1 gram of fiber. Also 1 gram protein. I really didnt expect to see any. It also has a goodly amount of potassium (700 mg) .. again, which is what is replacing much of the sodium.Tiny 5.5 ounce cans. That is good or bad depending on what you are looking for.I like it room temp or cold. I just chug it.
