Like most of us, I have tried a ton of high-end products to soften, shape and groom my beard. Scotch Porter is the best product and best value that I have found. This starter kit is perfect for your beard or mustache. Enough so that I bought this kit for my 2 boys that also have a beard. I love the scent!! Kind of a buttery bourbon musk. The Scotch Porter products also work!I would not have passed them along to my kids if they did not! Use the leave-in conditioner to soften your beard and follow up with the balm to mold it. I like to wait a few minutes to let them soak in before I finish it off with the beard serum. Get this as a starter or travel set that.

I guess I didn't read the description closely enough. I thought this contained a sample of regular wash-out conditioner. It does not. All four tubes all are variations of leave-in conditioners or beard balm products. Nothing wrong there, softens my beard (which is white/gray and like nails) and it smells nice. I just wanted to try the conventional conditoner without buying a big bottle of it, which I'll probably do anyway. BUT - this sample kit is still very much worth it.

Got this for my nephew as he is now taking his beard seriously and wanted him to have a good set of products for grooming. So far, he is liking the scent and how the products make his beard feel. After about a month we should know if this is the brand for him. Looking forward to great things!

I’ve tried a lot of different products but this one stands out. My beard feels rejuvenated! It’s softer, more manageable, and the smell….its fantastic period:) I wish I could have teamed with this brother because this product will go triple platinum

growing a beard is an investment, so you need to choose wisely before jumping in, if you want to do it right. this sampler is a great look into the products and the routine that could help you along your way. i wish i had "before" pictures (i'll add a few "after" pictures soon), but i'll say this: anyone who has gray hair knows how unruly it is, and with this routine i've managed to get it somewhat tamed in a week or so. mild scent is a plus, but there's enough there. a great way to see if these products work for you as well as they have for me. and i hope they do.

I'm glad I only purchased the trial pack because all of these smell like banana + diaper powder or caranuba car wax. Certainly not a smell I want under my nose all day.
