Our cat loves it. She absolutely loves to play with it after she uses the box. She will put her pause or head back in, and that stops the rotation then she’ll go to leave and she’ll do it all over again. It has turned into her daily or should I say nightly game to annoy my husband

We got this because the cat needed a diet and the gravity feeder we had allowed her to eat whenever she wanted all day long. With this feeder we set up a nice little feeding schedule and put her on a diet. She's down 8 lbs and the vet is ecstatic. We highly recommend this feeder!

The cats come running every time it dispenses. App is super easy to use and set schedules and I love that the cats get fed automatically. Having a chronic illness I really appreciate gadgets like this that make my life easier :)

If you are out a lot, working long hours and running around, and you want your pets to get fed when you are not at home or running late, this is fantastic. Aside from allowing them to feed hands-free, so to speak, this allows you to schedule feedings. If you've ever had overweight pets, and who hasn't, you don't want to just give them food and let them feast on it. Portion control is key, and this feeder robot really works. I wasn't expecting anything fancy. I don't really want a lot of smart features that are complicated and may not be reliable. I've had some frustrating experiences with modern electronics that don't live up to the hype. This is simple and basic and I like it. And while I'm not a fan of downloading and learning new apps, the Whisker app works quite well and is worth the space on your phone. And there is nothing complicated about it. I'd say this feeder, and the app, represent just the right amount and application of technology. And given that this holds 32 cups of food, you won't need to refill it too often unless you have a big dog!

The sensors have a bad habit of failing which sends you a notification every minute. Then all the sudden start working. No restart, it just starts working. But for how much it cost, and still in firmware 1.0 and having to use an older security for the app is just unacceptable.

Backup battery, you can’t any information about a backup battery, but there is space for one in the bottom of the feeder. Looks like it will require a special battery, not something common C or D batteries. 2nd time writing this

Brought smiles and joy when it arrived and relieves the cat parents of having to awaken for 5AM feeding!
