The feet are rubber, and mounted on a dovetail. They don't "break off" as other users posted. If they fall off, you just slide them back on. Good design. They help with damping the noise. The connectors do not leak. If they leak, it's because of incorrect usage or a defective unit. I used 3/8 medical grade silicone tubing for pickup and output, and a single zip tie on the output side; no clamp on the input side. Zero leaks. A zip tie worked because I had minimal pressure on the output side with a shower head. I tested with full pressure though by putting the shower head in trickle mode, and still no leaks. It handles shower temp water no problem - about 110 degrees F. Power usage depends on load. It draws less than 1 amp while showering - around 10 watts. Again, power usage increases with load, so you will see full power draw at full capacity. I am using this pump for a makeshift shower, as we have a major plumbing issue in hour house which will take weeks to fix. It's connected to a standard shower wand (a spare one I had), and I use a 12 gallon tank that sits in the far end of the tub.
