Worth it
This works great. I've had it over a year and it is a good unit.

Amazing picture quality even at 1000X.
I bought this to use as an aid to assembling microchip parts to PCB's cause I have old eyes. I have never seen those little tiny parts so clearly. Has good hand access so you can get at those little guys and place them or remove them with less effort. Some of those parts are about the size of coarse ground pepper grains. It could also be used to examine organic specimens (pond water fauna) or any other little thing you wish to see better. Plug it in to you computer and fill the screen with a single bacteria. It would also be a useful tool for someone making tiny models of "things". It has a stable base and since you don't put your eyes against eye pieces such as you would with an optical 'scope it remains stable. I like it, it is fun and functional.

Good value
I only use these for when I need images or video of logic board work (because I'm too cheap to buy the camera attachment on my expensive binocular microscope). But they'd be more than adequate for someone who does minor amounts of SMD soldering, and definitely adequate for hobbyist and collectors (coins, etc). The two magnification lenses are convenient, the slide box on the other hand isn't going to be very helpful for someone wanting to view bacteria, liquid samples, etc. If on the other hand you just want to view pre-prepared transparent sample slices (insect/leaf cross cuts and so on) it'll work just fine.

Works great to magnify items!
I have my military record on microfiche. Unfortunately there are no readers readily available. I used this item to enlarge each page and then capture the page as a photograph. I loaded all the images into my computer, cropped each page and used Adobeโs negative function to convert to black and white and finally created a PDF document from all the pages. This item answered my prayers and was very useful.

AWESOME!
This is an awesome scope. The only drawback is having to change lenses but that is the nature of this type of scope. I purchased it to use for watch repair, but then using a microscope brought me back to my college biology days which prompted me to buy a proper compound microscope. This scope has the little light stage so you can use slides but it's not the same as a compound scope. However it is AMAZING for large items and used as a stereo microscope. I view rocks, insects, plant parts, etc with this scope. The clarity and resolution is is very clear and bright. The adjustable lights are great. The software leaves a little to be desired and it takes some getting used to. Photos and video are a snap...no pun intended. I've found that the SD card needs to be reformatted every time I delete photos or videos from the card which is a nuisance. The card is also a trick to insert back into the slot. I use a rubber tipped tweezer. It's great that the SD card is included though. It also needs a rack and pinion adjustment for the course adjustment instead of the locking screw mechanism which is a bit cumbersome. Overall this scope is great. I recommend the 10" version.

Neat idea but needs time to get better for my kind of work.
I bought this microscope to look at my coins and other collectables. At first I was amazed at what you could see but it lacks what an optical microscope can do at high power. Way to much tinkering around with light and placement. After about a week of use I decided to send it back. However the LINKMICRO would be wonderful for a young student that loves science and the reason I give it three and a half stars. Recommend for students.

It worked out of the box.
I've been using this microscope and it works great. I look at it to check coins dollar bills and other money. And so far I am very satisfied with it.

Best tool for SMD soldering ever!
It's the best microscope that I have purchased so far. Top tier picture quality and functionality. It's definitely worth it's money. L lens is best option for my soldering work, because of focus length. It's sturdy enough, I expected that it'll be cheap looking toy but it's more like professional tool. Definitely worth it's money ๐

I bought the linkmicro digital microscope to make my life a bit easier when dismantling , inspecting and re-assembling watch movements. The height adjustment and x3 lense options means it is possible to have enough space to work under the camera lense. Essential if watch repair is your main purpose for using a digital microscope. Itโs not perfect or the most ideal option on the market, BUT it is the best when it comes to price and being good enough to do the job. I think itโs a great buy for me and does what I need it to do. Iโm not a professional watchmaker, so donโt want to spend large amounts of money on specialist equipment. So this is ideal for me and my requirements
