Wow! It works and is far superior than another previously purchased. If you're hesitating...buy!
I hardly leave reviews but in this case I had to take the time. Not only is this product great/actually works but the company is fantastic.Long post with background details some of you may also relate to.I suffer from MCAS, which means that my body works against me when being bit by insects. It's really bad this year, with the skeeters roaming everywhere...unavoidable in and out of the house. Insects love me and have been so hard to avoid and prevent being bit. In the past 4 years I've ended up in urgent care from allergic reactions to bites three times. I get welts, sometimes the size of a silver dollar. Even if I remember to spray myself or clothe myself accordingly I still get bit, with no cure to my body's histamines working against me.I have a big potted plant on my porch near my door - to hide my amazon deliveries and I know that's been a part of the problem. I have Orkin out to spray monthly for these pests but to no avail.I've been meaning to move the pot and set up something else to hide deliveries (don't feel comfy doing the whole drop off in my garage option).Since I haven't had the time to move the plant or repot it with different soil, each time I open the door I have a hard time avoiding being bit or I'm welcoming the insects into my sacred space where I thought staying in would prevent bites. I recently discovered the plant has a bit of mosquitoes in it, though I can't see them...until they get stuck to the yellow-pest sticky tape I've put in there. Though, once in a while I will see them zooming past me (but I can't tell if it's a gnat or mosquito).I've been holed up in my square box, as my neighbor calls it, because of the mosquitoes but even opening the door quickly welcomes the suckers into the house. Or going outside a different door to get the mail, past my garden...I'm doomed.I have stuff set up in the house to get them away from me (yellow sticky plant things, plug in pest and mosquito repellent items, electrical zapping lights, and sometimes diffuse specific oils or burn citronella incense but, no luck.Even the citronella plant I put next to the big pot on the porch doesn't help. And, I was even just now bit through my pajama bottoms! I don't see them or feel them and get so frustrated. It seems I can't go anywhere, do anything to prevent all these bites daily.have a bag full of itch relief lotions, balms, ointments, a zapping thing, a prescription steroid cream and they all hardly work. I've used ice, which works but is hard to keep on. And, I even gave myself severe frost bite after strapping a well-made ice pack to my leg where several bites were and then falling asleep...another urgent care visit and a long time to heal...with nurses and doctors all wanting to see what frost bite actually looks like on someone in Southern California in the summer....that was back in 2020 and not fun. Ice works to numb the itching but now I make sure to only keep the ice packs on a short time. In 2021, according to amazon while scrolling through my orders of numerous bug prevention and repellent items, I bough a different type of heating device, which worked, but was a little bulky to carry around and the buttons required to press to get a heat-zap to relieve the unbearable itching got depressed, with no way to fix so...when I went searching for a new heating device and came across this one I thought it was a great concept and worth a try. When I got the well-packaged box with the device secure in it, along with detailed instructions, I immediately put it to use and was very impressed that it worked and was so easy to carry around as a compact heating element, able to be affixed to a key chain or a lanyard, perhaps, sort of like a USB jump drive. However, I knew it was a matter of time that I might lose the heating element part that gets removed from the secure holder that I had attached to the top closure of my bag "o' tricks" I lug around to aid in my itch relief. I rotate between things I've bought but only a few work for a few moments and then it's a vicious cycle and challenge at calming the itch at various times of the day (like sitting at my desk, working). The heating element of the device is removed and then attached to your cell to use along with the accompanying app - which is just great. No worry of buttons getting depressed. It gives a great array of options - short, medium, long, sensitive....I'd been using it daily, numerous times a day but, the inevitable happened the other day...I lost the heating element part ofthe device. I looked everywhere..did I accidently throw it away with a kleenex or napkin I was holding?I reached out to the company to see if there was a way to obtain a replacement of just the heating portion of the device. Not only did they respond quickly but with kindness, understanding, compassion and professionalism. Their solution for my replacement was amazing and was sent out immediately. I'm just in awe of the company and the device. I suggest, though, to keep the device in its own pouch so you don't lose the most important part like I did.So...yes, buy this specific heating device. It's far superior to the other options out there, especially for someone like me.

I'm as obnoxious about this as I was about Marie Kondo before the pandemic
I am particularly tasty to mosquitos and equally allergic to mosquito bites. It doesn't help that I also have sensory issues to the point I have melted down crying over the itching.Imagine you're pulling a bowl out of the microwave. You think "okay I have maybe 5 to 10 seconds to get this over to the table before I HAVE to let go because this is too hot. Maybe you rush and maybe you hiss but you're fine after. That's the heat this thing puts on your bug bite. There is a single instance in which this has not worked for me. The dreaded oak mite bites. The only thing that works on them is topical steroids, preferably prescription strength. On mosquito bites this has worked with 100% efficiency. I hiss like a cat for 7 seconds, followed by total relief. I carry it in my purse everywhere I go. I'm considering buying a back up just in case I lose it at an inopportune time, or to keep it in my nightstand so that when I wake up in the night from a bite itching I can zap and go back to sleep in 10 seconds. My mother has talked me out of buying them in bulk as Christmas gifts for my entire extended family because it's weird to gift someone a thing that hurts. Instead I've just been spreading the gospel of "no more mosquito bite itch" to any friend or family member who will listen.I cursed when I discovered I had to download another app for this. However, the app is intuitive, ad free, and pared down to only exactly what the user needs. This was worth it to me at the first bite that stopped itching. At this point it's literally paid for itself in the Allegra pills I haven't had to buy/take.

I wish I knew about it sooner
What an amazing product that does an excellent job. I was sceptical to the claim that this little guy would help with bug bites. But it really does well when your timing is right. If you get to the bite quickly you literally won't have a itchiness. I've used it on older bites and while it helps it may not always keep the itching from coming back.Wait for a sale and it is even more worth it to get one.

Don’t Buy!
Box came disheveled and product didn’t look new, but of course you can’t return or ask for a replacement.

SO AMAZING, I bought 2 in case I lost one
AMAZING! It works. I always have this with me because mosquitoes love me. It is uncomfortable to use, but it's far better than itching myself all day.

Very pleased with purchase
We recently purchased the HeatIt device and have been very pleased so far.Pros:• I like how small and portable it is and it fits on my keychain for convenience of always having it when I think to use it.•The unit is much smaller than others with similar technology, that I’ve researched.• It’s worked fairly well on my bug bites although I have had to apply it several times on each bug bite and so I’m not sure if it’s the tech or if enough time has passed that it wouldn’t be itchy anyway. That said, the blast of heat still keeps me from scratching so much I break skin.• The app was very easy to download, even outside the US (didn’t run into regional issues like I have with other apps)• User interface for app is well designed and even my children know how to use it.Cons:•It gets much too hot for my kids so we aren’t able to effectively use it, even on the shortest treatment and “Child” and “Sensitive” selected. So we are still carrying all the bug bite sticks and ointments etc. And they are still breaking skin.Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase. While it’s not the end all item for bug bites, it’s an easy and small additional thing to keep in the toolkit to treat bug bites.

Best itch relief product on the market
Far better and more reliable than Bite Away. Love the compactness, ease of use, and user interface. Perfect dose of heat for the highest, longest setting.
