SaphiRose Women's Long Rain Jacket Waterproof Lightweight Hooded Raincoat

After reading the reviews and seeing customer photos, I ordered this in Black & 1 in Deep Blue, in the event the Blue was too bright :). I’m boring.The deep blue is darker than the photo and very nice. I ordered an XL as I’ll be traveling in rainy Europe soon and will need to layer. Also like that I can wear this over my long puffy winter coat for a waterproof layer. I think I could have ordered in a L, it does run big but it’s perfect for my needs.What sold me was the short video of the woman wearing it in the shower and staying dry, seams and all.Only negative were the sleeves, I’m not crazy about the elastic but they are nice and long and fit well. For the cost it’s very nice fabric and super waterproof, like some have mentioned, be careful when unsnapping - unsnap gently. Love the two way zipper too.

I finally was able to wear this in the rain and I was kept quite dry - oh happy day!. This was not a downpour, but a nice gentle rain that I was walking through. The only places that were wet, were where the jacket did not cover. I found the coat to not be very breathable and I could envision if it were a warm summer day in the rain, I would start to sweat quickly.I bought a size up (XL) to accommodate sweaters, sweatshirts, and my hips, and it is quite large without layers underneath- and I think I could have easily gotten away with a L. (I typically wear between L-XL in shirts) .It does not have much of a shape so is not the most flattering of coats - sort of looks like big bag. The double zipper is spectacular - every coat on the planet should have this and while on the subject of zipper, it appears heavy duty and something that will last.The pockets are large, and the hood went over my big head with lots of hair nicely.The sleeves only have elastic by the wrists, nots a deal breaker, but there's no way to adjust for going over gloves or not wearing gloves.In conclusion -I have searched and searched for a longer waterproof raincoat (not rain resistant) and this fits the bill and the price was marvelous! I didn't want to spend $100-200 for something I only wear occasionally. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again if the need arose.

I haven’t used it on the rain yet but it was vary cute and has a soft liner on the inside. Very comfortable. I’m 5ft 10in tall and a size 18 and the XL fits great. It would be snug in the hips/belly of I were any bigger but as of now it works!

I bought the teal rain jacket. I liked that it was lightweight and I could easily fit it folded in my backpack. It kept me warm and dry on a cooler, rainy day. It is easy to move in and comfortable. What I didn't like was that it was not sewn well. One of my pockets was not sewn on one side, so I could not put anything in it without it falling all the way to the bottom between the outer and inner mesh layer.

Very happy with this rain coat. It's well made, fit as expected and it comes with a pouch for storage. Good quality.

I usually purchase medium in jackets/coats so I can layer. This is a nice raincoat, but it was way to large and long for my 5'2" and 115 lb. I chose not to order the small as the length would still be long for me. The positive was I received it quickly, the blue color was as posted on the site, really nice color, and it was folded into a travel case that would take up minimal room in a suitcase.

Returned it. It's an ok temporary poncho, not a raincoat or jacket. Maybe worth about half the price. While the description says lightweight raincoat, it's really a poncho for a few uses with some extra features.The positives? Nice color. Has a two-way zipper. Looked ok when I tried it on. Don't know how water resistant.The negatives? The fabric is very light weight. Poncho fabric like the stuff worn to sports stadiums for a few uses. The two-way zipper is very flimsy, probably won't last. Didn't want to trust using the snaps, looked like they could tear out easily. The elastic around the wrists was a loose thin strand, didn't really close the sleeves around my wrists and wouldn't seal wrists against water.I did a lot of comparisons before ordering this and I wasted my time on this. FYI I got a much better one for 2/3 the price with thick waterproof mesh lined fabric, a very sturdy zipper, heavy duty snaps, and sleeves that fall down over a thickly banded elasticized wrist that is comfortable and waterproof.There are much better raincoats at lower prices.

i have not yet worn it in the rain, but it looks great and fits well. Elegant and ladylike.

Had the pink one that I loved so much that I brought the black one as well this year.

The one thing I noticed which would have made it looked finished was the hood is not lined with the same material the rest of the coat is lined with. It looks unfinished. You can see the underside of the water proof material and it would look much better if it was taken further and lined the hood.Also not a fan of the elastic wrist. I cut out the elastic and it looks much better. I am adding snaps shuts to close it.I would also add more snap closures on the front of the coat...at least more than just 2 at the neck closure, one in the middle front of coat. Also pockets are not easy access. If it was angled more and had zippers.For the price it's OK. I bought it to wear over a long down vest when walking the dog or in and out of car. Love the colour.

I haven't worn the coat outside in the rain yet, maybe tomorrow. Love the colour (more teal than navy), and it appears to be well made. I would have preferred cuffs on the sleeves instead of gathered elastic, but the sleeves are long enough (I'm tall). It was a very snug fit in the bag, so still very wrinkled. I will follow other people's hints about removing the wrinkles. But over all, I'm pleased
