I was originally shopping for a big storage bin that would hold 24 pounds of dog food. But then I realized that as it got emptier, the dog food towards the bottom would have been exposed to lots of air (being opened twice a day) in the 6 weeks it would take for my 50 lb dog to eat it all.A constant source of fresh air is what makes food stale. Filling this smaller dispenser about once a week, means the big bag is only opened about six times instead of 90 times. I can keep the excess (24 lb) bag material rolled down as much as possible to keep the air out. This small container does get air in it twice per day when opened, but "fresh" dog food goes in every week.The measuring cup/cap is a great idea too!

It’s as it says for how much it holds, I thought maybe I could squeeze a 3.5 pound of cat food in it but it overflowed with about a fourth of the cat food left in the bag. I really like the handle on top though, it’s easy to pour out of and comes with the measuring cup and an another collapsible cup.

I love this little container for keeping some of our dog's food handy in the kitchen area where we feed him. This container fits great in my cupboard and I don't have to go down to the garage to get food for each meal. (I have a large, stay-fresh, container that I keep in the garage downstairs to hold the large bag of food.)

This works great for us. The seal around the measuring cup is a great way to open and close the container without fully opening it each time. Super convenient!

I really like that there is a cup/scoop and easy pour spout. Seems to keep my fur baby's food fresh.

The cap that screws onto the spout doesn’t stay on very well. I think the grooved part needs to be deeper for it to stay on. Otherwise, it is nice. I love the ease of pouring from the spout.

I purchased this container to store my Clothes whitening powder. It's larger than expected, which is a plus. Great price, sturdy, easy to handle, comes with a measuring cup, and doesn't spill product when using. It also came with a collapsible food/water travel pet dish.
