Don't Wait! Clipper Works and is AWESOME!
BUY IT NOW! DON'T WAIT! I am not that old, but have awful arthritis in the hips. I saw this tool a year ago and now 100% regret not buying it then (was put off by the price, but it is worth it!) It is AWESOME!Spent a year doing contortions trying to use long-handled scissors on my toes. Pedicure was scary, b/c they sloppily cut my skin and drew blood! Finally, due to all this foot-care neglect, part of my big toenail was jagged and broke off Fearing worse issues, I purchased the Easy Reach Clipper. Out of the box, applied to all my toes, no problems. Snip snip snip! Oh my gosh, feet feel so much better. Someone suggested it is a Rube Goldberg device. LOL. Yes, it's very simple, but very clever. Worth ever single penny. My hat's off to the inventor, I hope you make your mint, because you deserve it! Oh..and the nail clipper itself is very sharp and cuts the nail very cleanly. My big toe nails are about normally thick. The smallest toes are the hardest to do, but I'm getting good at it! Just take your time at first and do it after a shower. I would give more stars if I could. Hurray! Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

This clipper works well.
I’m so sorry I waited so long to purchase this item. I actually just a few days ago wondered if such a thing even existed and was in awe of all the choices on Amazon. After looking and reviewing multiple long handle nail clippers I chose this one. The review that impressed me most about this clipper stated that it looked crudely made and that almost scared me off until I finished reading the review. The opening that is carved out for the spring and clipper is actually crude looking because it does look like it was cut jaggedly with a knife. Mine on one side is somewhat smooth and on the other side is somewhat rough but the product works well. Many reviewers stated it cut their thick toenails well and I do not have thick toenails so I figured it would work ok for me. You just have to get a feel for where you are putting the clipper and make sure you don’t cut the skin because the clipper is nice and sharp and cuts very smoothly and with a slow and cautious approach you can successfully cut nails with no problems. I love it!

Does not work, inferior nail clippers
Do not waste your money on these. The concept is great but the actual nail clippers do not cut your nails and it’s very difficult to use.

Wow, very impressive product!
I read a number of the reviews on this product. There were some negative reviews about the Clippers being poorly designed and flimsy, and not being able to cut through thick toenails.I do not find this to be the case, in fact, of the three different long handled toenail clippers I own, I find these to be much more effective than the other two. I have severe arthritis in both hips, and intense lower back pain. Despite all that using these Clippers I was able to get my toenails with the exception of the small toe on each foot trimmed in about 2 minutes. On average, with either of the other two extendedclippers, to get the toenails on both feet trimmed would have taken a good 30 minutes, and sometimes longer. I also read a couple of comments about the clippers not being able to cut through thick toenails. I don't know how thick these people's toenails are, but mine are pretty dang thick and this tool cut through them like a hot knife through butter. You have to understand, that cutting my toenails took about three or four days of psyching up before I actually do it with any of the other extended clippers that I own. It is a testament to how well these things work that I took them directly out of the box walked over to the bathroom kicked off my shoes, braced myself with my left hand on the sink, and trimmed my right foot toenails in under a minute holding the trimmer in my right hand. No YouTube videos, no practice and absent any previous experience using this tool.I mentioned that I did not get the toenails trimmed on the small toes of each of my feet. This is my fault because I let them grow too long and they curved under, so it's unreasonable to expect any long-handled tool to be able to cope with that kind of an angle. I can tell you now that it won't be a problem keeping them trimmed once I get a pedicure done by a professional.I won't have to hesitate and worry about how much pain I'll experience, trying to trim my toenails . Now all I have to do is pick up the tool and trim them before they get long. I'm very happy with my purchase, and I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has limited ability to bend at the waist and reach their feet. I feel that if I'm able to do this, most other people out there with the same kind of issues that I have will be able to use this tool with a great degree of effectivity. Finally, I gave this a 4-star rating, because I feel there is room for improvement in this product. I think it could be a couple of inches longer, and the grip could be a bit larger. The plunger that presses down on the handle of the toenail clippers could sit with tension already on the clipper itself. There's a little bit of up and down play (1-1.5 inches that takes a moment to get used to. Honestly though, it only took me about three or four chops with the clippers to make it work just fine. Your mileage may vary.

Better than other long handled clippers....BUT!
Yes, the product works fine and it is better made than others but this product is heavily over priced. $50 is too much to pay for a couple pieces of plastic pipe and some fittings. The clipper itself is probably most expensive part. I doubt there is $10-$15 dollars in making this. This product would be better priced in the $30 range. Like I said it works great but very over priced!

Surprise, it worked like a charm!
Its a very sturdy device made out of plastic that sort of feels like wood. I purchased it to help me clip the nails on my left foot while I go through physical therapy...its just taking longer to get my hip mobility back in that leg. I would be mortified to even ask my wife to do it for me as we both haaaate feet with a passion. Anyway, its a bit awkward at first but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I saw some negative reviews while deciding whether to purchase it but I did not make the same observations. As I said, it feels sturdy, the clippers are securely mounted and I was able to easily exert enough pressure using the thumb-press to clip the nail. I live in South Carolina and I see lots of folks wearing flip-flops...even people that have no business doing so and I can certainly see how this device might not be as effective on nails that are very thick/hard. I'm fortunate to not be in that boat and this device did the trick for me. I will likely retire it in a couple of months as I regain mobility but I am really glad I found this.
