I never write reviews but after using this for over a year now, I had too! I have had acne prone skin for life. I was always hesitant to use any type of hair oils, creams, lotions, sprays, gels, and leave in products. I could tell a product would cause me to break out just by looking at it. I came across this brand when searching “acne prone skin hair products”. I took the gamble after reading the description and reviews. And it was so worth it. I started with the “fragrance free” version but then went to this one, the smell is a light & fresh smell that is not overwhelming (certain scents trigger migraines for me). I very much enjoy the scent and it does last while in my hair. I shower and then brush my hair out. After that I will take about a table spoon of this crème and rub it in between my hands and then I’ll use my fingers to run it though my hair (I do this twice). The crème itself isn’t heavy, it’s smooth and light, a small amount goes a long way. The consistency spreads easily. I will then blow my hair out and use a straightener to gently go over. Initially, the hair (around the top of my head and scalp) feels a bit greasy, however after a couple of hours- that feeling is completely gone. My hair is soft, shiny, clean feeling and there’s no frizz. I have naturally curly hair and this crème has definitely helped keep my blow out looking sharp! But best of all- no break outs!! No oily feeling or looking hair! Even when I am initially running it through my hair- it doesn’t feel greasy or oily. I’ve used products in the past that have caused pimples, specifically around my hair line, and with this- I’ve had mine. My hair feels clean, even after a few days. I highly recommend this product for those who are worried about break outs, and even for those who don’t!!

I bought the SEEN Blow-Out Creme (Fragrance Free) because I wanted a fragrance-free leave-in that also works as a heat protectant, since my hair can dry out easily. For reference, I have very thick, long curly hair (3C–4A) with mixed curl patterns and some heat damage from mid-length to ends. The back middle section of my hair is more 4A, and that area dries out the most and tangles easily, so I’m very picky about leave-ins. This product is honestly a holy grail for me. The texture is a light, runny cream (not heavy), and a little goes a long way, so it's a great value for the price. I apply a small amount on damp hair from the ends up, staying about an inch away from my roots. It made my hair feel incredibly soft, smooth, moisturized, and manageable, and it held onto moisture without feeling greasy. Blow-drying was super fast, and after using heat tools my hair looked healthy, shiny, silky, and moved naturally with a soft, polished finish that lasted for days. I love that it’s fragrance-free, clean, vegan, and it actually performs. I’ll definitely keep repurchasing.

I’m a millennial hair tool and product junkie who decided to throw it all out and replace it all with clean products. One of the harder things for me to find has been a heat protectant. I have shoulder length, fine, wavy, and frizz prone hair. Products can easily weigh down my hair. With dry shampoo between, I wash twice a week on average. The first time I used this product I used about a nickel size of product and I applied it directly to my hair out of the shower and combed through. As I was blow drying my hair, I realized that it was taking significantly longer and I started to become worried about way too much product in my hair and I felt like the disbursement was as uneven. I let it air dry for a bit and came back and finished styling and determined that while I had used too much product, there was great potential. I didn’t have to re-wash my hair and was able curl it and be happy with it for a couple of days. I decided to try it again before I wrote a review. This time I used a dime size amount and mixed it with water in my hands for a more even application. There was still an increased time to my blow drying, which is something I can deal with. My hair is soft, shiny, and LOVES the curling iron after I’ve used this product. My next day curls hold as good (and some days not good) as any other hair product I’ve used. I feel like my hair has more body. I do wish they had a lighter spray option, but I would never reach for cremes in the past because of my fine hair so it may be that I just need to find my perfect technique and amount. I am really happy that I found this product. While it is expensive up front, my guess is a whole tube will probably last me 4-6 months, maybe more! It is very lightly scented. I personally have to put my nose to my hair. Moving from fragrance heavy products to very lightly or unscented, I appreciate the light clean smell.

This blowout creme works remarkably well on my fine, straight, naturally blonde hair. It seems to wash out cleanly, too, without the need for double washing or clarifying shampoos. I really love that there's no fragrance, and I don't have to worry about it irritating my medically-induced hypersensitive skin. It would be a unicorn product for me except for one thing: the formula is kind of watery, so it tends to come out fast and give me too much every time. I've started storing it in the drawer with the black cap up and being really cautious when opening it. That's not that big ideal, but it does keep it from being the perfect product - especially when you consider how expensive it is, and how much water you're getting for the price.

Wow! My naturally blonde, thick, dry and frizzy hair looks completely different after using this product. I also used the SEEN magic serum after blow drying my hair. Doesn’t make my hair feel or look greasy either. I’m not very good about using hair or skin products because I don’t have much expertise in those areas. I generally use Costco shampoo and conditioner and I’ve noticed my hair has been super dry once I hit my mid 30’s. I also have very sensitive skin so I’m afraid of trying new products. No breakouts or scalp irritation when I tried this stuff. Also, I was happy they offered a fragrance free option. Really impressed for only using it one time.

Unfortunately another hair product that is fragrance free - but has a scent. I wish companies would label or give an accurate description of their product. Yes there might not be any added fragrance but that doesn't mean there isn't a scent. I would think in their consumer testing, someone must have told them they noticed a scent. A disclaimer in the description such as "Product does have a slight scent" would go a long way to those who have to avoid scents. I know everyone has a different level of scent tolerance, but for those of us with the curse of a bloodhound sense of smell it is hard to find hair products that one can use and I wish companies would be more forthright about it. I would say to me it almost had a smell of suntan lotion, I don't know how else to describe it and it's not a hint of something, you can smell it as soon as you take the sealed foil off. I did try a small patch test on my arm to see if the smell might dissipate or maybe it wouldn't smell once it was out of the tube but that was not the case and off it came. I do want to make note of the consistency as well of the product, it was very runny and quite a bit came out of the tube when I went to do a test patch. I don't know if this would be a good thing or a bad thing when applying to your hair, one would have to be careful when dispensing the product so as to not end up with a big blob of product and it go to waste. Even though I didn't use the product on my hair I did want to mention that fact. So bottom line if you have a bloodhound sense of smell this product is not for you - keep looking!!

I don't normally write reviews but I thought that this product deserves some constructive feedback. I love all the products that I got from this company. My hair feels healthy and rejuvenated. However, I must say that the cream tube is very unconvince to use, the moment you open the cap the cream will flow out of the tube and it will be everywhere. I think this company would benefit from hiring a good packaging expect to get them a better design for their containers. It's a shame because the product is really great!
