The STEP preparation guru at our school highly recommended this book for preparing for the Behavioral Sciences (including Psychiatry) on Step 1. It's very thin and a quick read, straight and to the point. I read on studentdoctor.net that the author of this book writes the questions for the actual exam, too. FA rates this resource as "A".

Nice book. Well made.
It was really useful and well made. The information is good and accurate. Only use it if you have the time. It is not absolutely necessary but it's such a nice book. It has helped he throughout and I even read it again for Step 3. Such a cohesive voice.

Good for review
This book is great for a quick review, but it really doesn't offer much detail. I would use this book only for Step 1 review and not for during coursework

I thought this was moderately helpfpul, but not needed. BRS was slightly more useful. If you are really weak or spaced out on this topic during MS2 than it migth be worth it.

Not too useful, most of the material is covered in FA
I would suggest BRS over high-yield, but both are likely unnecessary. Reviewing ethics and biostats should be prioritized, which can be practiced using the various Qbanks.
